Our family of 4 just wrapped up a week long stay at this lovely property. We picked it because of it's proximity to Windnsea beach (5 min walk), Downtown La Jolla (5 min drive/15 min walk) and a reasonable drive to most of the places we wanted to visit. Parking is street parking and was generally easy to snag a spot.
We enjoyed the Immersion Cafe, Busy Bee Bagel, the convenience of the small grocery store/7-11 nearby. Anything and everything else you could need is just a brief car ride away.
The only call out is that the kitchen is minimally stocked. We brought the essentials with us but did need to go out to buy dish/hand soap, salt n pepper etc.
Finally, if you have active kids who need to train (specifically basketball) there are tons of options. Indoor options that we used were the La Jolla YMCA, Mission Valley YMCA and RIMAC at UCSD. RIMAC has day passes that an adult can sign up for with kids added, which is further discounted if you are an Alumni.

As advertised in photos - clean, great location, quieter than expected especially for a holiday weekend. Would stay here again!
