My daughter was getting married and this was the perfect place for members of the wedding party. There was plenty of room so even if they did not know each other they could have some privacy. It was close to beaches and a part of town with shops and restaurants.

The only thing this rental needs is a little more comfortable furniture and more kitchen towels. One towel and wash cloth was not enough for 4 days. Dining room, had only plastic chairs for the wood table and were very uncomfortable. Since this was the only other seating inside the house, besides the living room couch, they could have upgraded these. A few comfortable chairs in the living room would have been great too, to allow visiting with each other more enjoyable. Overall the house is great for a large group. I love that it is an original in the neighborhood. I LOVE old houses! Nice peak of the ocean from the front window was lovely each morning.

The house was beautiful in the perfect location in La Jolla. Lots of room for family and pets. Fully stocked kitchen made meals easy to prepare. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. Quick trip to the beach. We would definitely rent the Opera House again and will tell our friends about it, too.
