This property is a very nice and quiet home in the residential area of La Jolla. It was impeccably clean. It is located walking distance from lots of things in La Jolla.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, and was walking distance to wind n sea beach. Only issue was it could use some updating, and ceiling fan in king bed bedroom was really noisy on high. Otherwise nice quiet neighborhood. Communication was good through text, and vrbo app.Thanks

After a cancelled flight home extended our time in La Jolla, we stayed at Sandcastle for two days; we felt fortunate to find a rental close to where we had originally been staying. The place was as described, clean and the beds were comfortable. A note on the partial a/c: it reliably cools the living room but not the bedrooms. The bedrooms had ceiling fans and a strategically placed tower fan helped pull the cool air toward the bedrooms.
