My wife and I were looking for a place close to the beach that could comfortably accommodate us and our three college-aged kids—and we found it!
I was initially concerned that the three kids might feel cramped sharing the second bedroom, but they fit comfortably. They do not mind sharing, and the beds were actually larger than they expected.
The best feature was the porch, shaded by an amazing, enormous tree. We sat outside every evening playing cards and ate most of our meals there. The neighborhood was also remarkably quiet, which can be hard to find in San Diego’s beach communities.
One thing worth mentioning: my son and I are both tall—about 6'5"—and there were two low-clearance spots in the house where we had to duck. We occasionally forgot and bumped our heads! This probably would not be an issue for most guests, but taller visitors should be aware.
Even with that minor quirk, we would gladly stay here again. It is a wonderful place in a great location.
