The location was unbeatable for La Jolla Shores. It was great to be able to easily walk back and forth to the beach. We were vacationing with teens, a toddler and grandparents and it allowed us to be flexible with our beach days. The home set up was great. We loved the courtyard and the outdoor seating areas. We appreciated the hoses outside to rinse off after the beach time and the provided beach towels and chairs. There were also umbrellas, sand toys, and a couple basic boogie boards that I don’t think were mentioned. The only trouble we had was the heat the first night. It was warm and stuffy when we first arrived and the fans helped minimally that night because the nighttime temperatures were still warm. There is a small portable AC unit in the front room that helped, but we didn’t really get the whole house cooled down until the day after we arrived. A couple more of those units, including one in the casita, would be really helpful on warmer days.

Great property in ideal location. Clean and well furnished/stocked and well appointed. The only thing holding back a full 10/10 would be that the house does get quite hot inside (over 80 degrees) while we were there in late July. While there are several electric fans, afternoons and nights became quite hot even with open windows and a/c would have been helpful. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Beautiful location, drone show was perfectly in view for the 4th, and everything you needed for a solid weekend trip. Host was very responsive and timely. Would definitely go back again and recommend to others
