Overall we had a great stay here. It does look like the photos and everything in the unit works very well. We had a few issues with the noise upstairs but found no issues with the noise from planes. The place is clean, the AC works, the water pressure is fantastic and water gets hot quickly. The bed is also super comfortable.
While it IS walkable, be aware that it's a bit ways up and there are many hills. The grocery store is about 30 mins away walking. Balboa Park is only 19 ish mins walking. It's easy to walk to the water and to fantastic gelato and pizza. Fridge and freezer work well
The unit is relatively private, but food delivery may get confused because it's in the back. The unit has a toaster oven instead of a microwave, which was a bit challenging at times but not a deal breaker or something. The coffee is French press, so be prepared for that.
Getting in was easy, and the host is communicative and kind. The code never failed to work and our stay was overall a great stay.

I have to say first and foremost I was really appreciative of the hosts, their communication and their flexibility, particularly when it came to checking in and out - especially after I had some flight issues they were so helpful and understanding and I can't say better things.
The location is great, you're a short walk from little Italy and the Marina so it's perfect in that respect and the place itself was nice, clean and a very cute little space. More than enough for a short stay.
Sure there are noises from the planes flying above but during the night that's not really an issue. Also this is the kind of location that with so much around you, you'll be out an about anyway so it won't effect you much. Plus if you are home during the day for whatever reason you can get over it relatively quickly.
Overall great stay and if you're looking for a nice quick stay while you go adventuring then this is a great option.

We had a really nice stay overall. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location—everything we needed was within walking distance (although steep) which made getting around super easy.
One thing to note is that there is some noise. You can hear airplanes overhead, which can be a bit loud at times, and there’s also some noise from upstairs. That said, we still enjoyed watching the planes, and it didn’t take away too much from our overall experience.
All in all, we had a good stay and would recommend it to others who don’t mind a bit of background noise in exchange for a convenient location and a comfortable space.
