Overall, we had a great stay. The airplanes weren't a problem. When you close the doors its not that noticeable. None of us a problem sleeping. The place was clean and very nice. It's within walking distance to Little Italy.

great place for a quick business trip. Very clean, user-friendly, comfortable, well-equipped. The airplane noise overhead is present, but it's very tolerable inside the house with windows and doors closed, and it ends from late night to early AM, so does not disrupt sleep.

Overall I was very happy with this AirBNB located on the northern edge of Little Italy and very close to the airport. Little Italy and downtown are walkable though it is a significant walk. Balboa Park is also walkable, though we would up doing Uber and then a car as it is a not insignificant distance.
The rental was clean, not cluttered and overall exactly as described. It is an older house, so if you like early 20th century designs this is a nice throwback. The third bed is in the living room, which was fine for us but a pair of twin beds in one of the bedrooms would have been a better choice. The unit has two TVs and that was great as we could watch our own things. The wifi is reasonably fast as well.
Only one issue during the stay and the management company handled it without out issue.
If you stay here rent a car from a local car agency location and save some bucks, the parking space is a huge benefit! It's about a 10-15 minute walk to get the car and you'll save $$$.
