5 stars in all areas except for the parking situation for units 3 and 4. PROS: House was in a perfect location by steps away from the beach, it was very clean, cute, included so many necessities for cooking in the kitchen, super comfy bed and pillows, complimentary shampoo/conditioner/lotion/laundry detergent, they even had boogie boards, beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach. THE ONLY AND ONLY CON (but kind of a big one IMO): We all know parking in San Diego is less than ideal. The listing does say that each unit has one parking space, which is not a lie entirely, however the listing fails to mention that units 3 and 4 share a driveway parking space one behind the other and you can't get out if the neighbor is parked behind you. We asked about this upon arriving to the property because we were a bit confused when there were only 3 spaces and we didn't know where to park and didn't want to park directly behind somebody and block them in. We were told to coordinate communication with the people in the other unit because we have to move in tandem. Say what?! Thankfully the neighbors were nice and didn't mind me interrupting their vacation to ask them to move their car so we could get out or vice versa, but what if they weren't there and we had to leave? Kind of an inconvenience to have to exchange phone numbers with complete strangers during vacation to coordinate a parking situation. Other than that, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay. The house is fantastic. The front yard area is the icing on the cake. Watch sunset from your front yard every night. Coffee in the morning. Great for our little nosy shitzhu to watch everything. Not to mention it is just a short walk to a fantastic beach. 2 blocks to cute downtown area with a bunch of good restaurants and shops Target is walking distance. Met the owner Lisa and she was wonderful. Asked if there was anything that she could do to improve our stay. You can tell she loves the property. Close proximity to the zoo and little Italy. There is a public parking/lot a half a block away with a few homeless folks but they kept to themselves and we never felt unsafe. The property is very secure and we felt 100% comfortable walking around even at night. Would 1000% stay here again. Thank you For sharing this wonderful property with us.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was really clean and well thought out. Location was great. NXT was really responsive and was easy to communicate with. We loved it!
The only problem we encountered was the parking. Condo 4 & 3 share a tandem parking spot. While there was one line in the listing, I must have missed it or not paid much mind when booking. When receiving the house directions, it always said each condo had its own spot, but really it is shared driveway spot. It was very inconvenient to have to call the neighbor to be able to leave the property if they are in front of you. It would be an issue if they were at the beach for hours and wouldn’t/couldn’t see the phone call or had to run back to move their car. You really need to give them like a 30 minute to hour notice of when you’re leaving. Our neighbor was thankful there often. But something to be mindful of when booking.
Otherwise we loved our stay and would book again!!
