A beautiful older, but well maintained home located close to the center of La Jolla.
The elevated aka above street level allowed for privacy as well as a marvelous view
The ocean breeze and sound of the sea lions barking made it just perfect

Beautiful place with a beautiful view.

We booked a last minute staycation here & absolutely loved it! Location was great bc a walk to the beach entrance was about a 5 min walk. Sitting on the porch swing looking out at the ocean view was such a vibe. The place was very clean - looks like they dust & wipe down everything. Floors were clean, countertops, furniture, even outdoor tables/ledge, bathrooms. Ppl have shared reviews that the home is old, but I think that’s the charm of it. The fact that they didn’t gut it out & make it modern is what I love. And all the “old” character features are all functional. I miss homes like this! Note the listing states that there’s no A/C, but in SD that’s normal. But with our hot weather lately coming to a cooler home would’ve been a nice touch. There are ceiling fans & provided fans in a closet. We still very much loved the home though! The layout of this home gave it cottage chic vibes. NXT was also very responsive to our updates/inquiries & friendly! Loved it all & would come back! :)
