Loved our stay! The house is charming, and comfortable, the location is AMAZING, and the views incredible. You can walk to La Jolla proper and to La Jolla shores, and see the ocean from the lovely porch! The house had everything we needed, and we also loved the "homey" touches of a well-stocked kitchen, extra blankets, and fans in every closet. Prepared for it all! Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Also, don't be deterred by the fact that it's a duplex, they have taken great steps to maintain privacy. There were folks in the other unit and we never heard them, other than friendly hellos on the front porch. Still felt very private!

Lovely , well maintained older home in established La Jolla neighborhood. Very comfortable furnishing with multiple outdoor fitting areas. View was delightful. We enjoyed the sunsets. Easy access to the Cove and La Jolla Shores Beach.The management team was excellent on communications . Would highly recommend the location and home. Off street parking for two vehicles with very handy in a busy neighborhood.

Wonderful location. House was extremely clean and although very vintage, it was very well taken care of!
Beds were comfortable, front patio was really a plus and the close proximity to the beach and town were amazing.
The cons: Minimal cheap towels (bath, kitchen and beach) many of the dishes were chipped, plastic Dollar Store and not clean/very well used. I think the kitchen dishes need to be looked at as well as the pots and pans. We had an issue with coffee maker and blender. Very quick response from management company, which we appreciated.
There were a few bags of dog waste in the backyard from the previous guests that we reported, but were never looked after. We did not use the yard, so not a big deal.
Overall, nice stay, but if the owners/ property management just put a little bit of luxury into the stay, it would be 10+
