We have rented many VRBO's in the Del Mar/Encinitas area and this was one of the best! We stayed a week with our family (3 couples and a single) in February and lucked out in the weather, which was terrific. The place is huge with many different areas to lounge around in, photos are accurate. More than enough beds/room for all of us and more. Place was immaculate, very well provisioned, and had a great location close to beach and amenities. The back yard and hot tub were excellent! The Surf Style Vacation Homes management team was responsive and helpful. We had a great time, it was very good value and we would highly recommend!

Great place right on the beach. Kids were able to play on the beach as soon as we woke up. Great patio to sit and watch the sunset!! Plenty of room for all 7 of us!

Great location. Lots of room for a blended family of 5 (3 teenagers). The house was fully stocked with everything that you would need.

We stayed at this property in March as a family of 4 and had a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. Parking was convenient and fit a mid-sized SUV.
The property provided beach equipment, which was a great perk for lounging by the shore. A coffee shop was conveniently located just across the street, and while most restaurants were about half a mile away, they were within a reasonable walking distance. My daughter follows a gluten-free diet, and we found plenty of options nearby, including a pizza place and a great gyro spot.
The home was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and professionally presented. Self-check-in with a code was easy. It had 3 beds; the lower-level room lacked A/C but was supplied with a heater, which was sufficient for our March stay. The neighborhood was peaceful, and we had no issues with noise. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and highly recommended

Enjoyed our 3 nights in this spacious and well-located unit. Being right next to the resort parking lots, many shops, restaurants, made for a fun stay in the Beaver Creek area.

We could open the patio doors and relax to the sound of the waves. People watching, endless walking, nearby restaurants, farmers’ market in Pacific Beach……The 2 BR 2 bath unit gave ample space and privacy to us 2 couples.

Great location just a minute walk away from the ocean and a bay. Rented bikes and rode the boardwalk which was fun. Location is great - parking as noted in other reviews is not as great. We were there over a weekend which has more relaxed hours for parking on the street. If staying during the week, you may need to figure out longer term parking solutions like a parking garage, which seemed to be a little pricey. Overall, the location worked great for our group and i would stay here again.

Cleanliness was our top priority - we were not disappointed. Yes, space is tight, but we knew that. And glad we didn’t have a vehicle larger than our Highlander as the parking space is fairly short as described. I was surprised that coffee and filters were not provided as all other Vrbo properties we have stayed at provide that but that’s not worth getting upset at, just be aware to bring your own. (There was a box of teabags a previous guest left behind and I happily made due with those.) A one minute stroll to the beach at a very fair price - of course it isn’t spacious, but no one is going to San Diego to stay in their room, are they?

The Airbnb was a great location and walkable distance to Mission Beach. The parking spot was something that made this place a great plus along with the washing machine and dryer. We look forward to our next stay at this location.

We had a wonderful stay and the management company was really good- there when we needed but also not bombarding with information (which I prefer!). The cottage is in such a beautiful, walkable location, and the beds are comfy and the area felt safe and neighborhood-y! I’d recommend this low key beach cottage stay!

Great Home- Everything was perfect!

This was an amazing condo right on Mission Beach - steps from the sand. Watching and hearing the waves was wonderful. Beds were very comfy, trundle made it nice for a family of 4. Windows in bedrooms had black out shades which was so nice so you could sleep in. Heater (fireplaces) were nice because it was a bit chilly while we were there. Neighbors were quiet and space was sufficient for car to park in garage with room to spare for storing supplies. Beach toys were much appreciated and made the trip a lot of fun. Full kitchen with gadgets was nice to cook inside. Neighborhood felt safe and there were lots of choices for shopping and dining. Would rent again in the future!

Awesome stay on mission beach. Great location - easy access to the beach. The garage is tight and Mission Blvd is a bit noisy, but otherwise great spot. Beds are very comfortable.
