We traveled with a group of 7. The house was very clean and well situated. We had a group of 6 boys who enjoyed the boogie boards, games and beach gear. We rented bikes nearby for the week and kept them in second garage. 1st garage was tight but after a day or so, we were able to park a large vehicle fairly easily. It was rainy and cold a few nights, and fireplaces were a big hit, as was the rooftop deck on sunny days. Very close to everything (beach, bay, Belmont Park). We made trips to La Jolla, USS midway, FC San Diego game at new stadium and to zoo -- very easy to navigate to all areas of San Diego from this location. We had a great stay and found home to be perfect for our group. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, cozy house for family vacation. Walking distance to the beach. If someone looking for 100% quiet place it’s not this type of neighborhood. All houses very close, no AC and you have to open windows. But we had a great time and all process was so easy. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived at this breathtaking Mediterranean-style oceanfront retreat, we knew we’d found something special. The house features four distinct outdoor areas, three of which offer sweeping Pacific views—perfect for sunrise coffee, sunset cocktails, tide pooling, or simply soaking in the surf sounds. One of the patios leads almost directly onto the sandy beach, making direct beach access effortless .
Inside, the home is beautifully designed around a central courtyard, giving it both cozy charm and a spacious feel. With mostly single-level living, three bedrooms and multiple baths, there’s room for family or friends to spread out comfortably .
The host deserves a special shout-out—they were unbelievably responsive, helpful, and genuinely warm, elevating our stay in every way.
Location is another standout: while it’s within easy walking distance to La Jolla Village, having a car made mornings and errands smoother (plus enabled some scenic drives).

Our family of 6 enjoyed staying here. (2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kids). If our 2 smaller children were older, it would have been too small for us but it was perfect for now. We enjoyed walking to the beach everyday. All 4 of our kids would walk to the beach barefoot. That’s how clean and close the beach was. Also very safe. This place had boogie boards for all the kids, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and more.
This place has everything you’ll ever need. But since there is only 1 bathroom, I’d recommend bringing an air freshener.
Walking distance to really yummy local food places and the Belmont park.
Parking was challenging but not impossible. We had a full size SUV, since we have a big family, and parking was very tight. It’s recommended to have a smaller vehicle but with our family size, we made it work just fine.
Host sent very clear and detailed instructions. We didn’t need to reach out once for anything. We will definitely be back.

The condo delivered as promised. The process was easy and the sounds of the ocean made the weekend more than we could ask for.

We loved our space in La Jolla. Close to the beach to hang out, watch the surfers, and catch a sunset!! The apartment itself was perfect. Just enough space. The kitchen had everything you needed, and we really appreciated the Brita filter filled and cold upon our arrival. Someone took our parking space. Management was very helpful and offered us an alternative spot. Loved it!!

Perfect beach house in an awesome location. Mission Beach is close to everything! Sitting on the deck, there's so much to see…..the ocean, the bay, the volleyball games, and people enjoying the beach & the outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed the house & the location.

We were 7 adults and had more than enough room at this beautiful house. Exactly as pictured. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. Great outdoor space as well. Highly recommend.

We had the best time staying at the property. It was easy to locate. They had everything we needed there from the kitchen to going out onto the beach! It was so nice to spend time with family. The hosts were very kind. Loved loved that there was parking! Can’t wait to do it again with family! Hopefully next time we’ll just rent out the whole top floor with more family being able to join us next time! Could not recommend this place more!

407 Bonair is an excellent vacation home for visiting La Jolla and the San Diego area. The unit has three floors, with the main bedroom on the third floor, a large bathroom, a closet with a full-size washer and dryer, and a front porch. We had a few items that needed attention, which were fixed the next day. The management company was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

I gave only 3 stars to Cleaniness & listing accuracy cause the fire pit area had a lot of bird poop that wasn’t cleaned up very well plus the cushion on the bench was missing. The website shows a private bbq grill but it was not there, had to use the community grills, for a lot of units there’s only 2 grills. A/C are wall units and don’t work very well in the bedrooms. Didn’t need AC in the common areas, we had very nice breezes. Overall it was great and roomy for 8 people.loved the 2 oversized fridges.

Easily getting 5 stars from my family and me! The property was spacious and location was excellent. It’s a must stay for a large family (we are a fam of 6). The only thing to note is that you are not able to see the sunset from the decks during all months. We stayed in June and the sun sat north from were the house is at.

Overall this place was great! Having a place right on the beach was amazing! I’ve been coming to So Cal for decades, best stay ever. It is an older home, but very charming. We loved it. Easy bike ride to Carlsbad or Mission Bay. Rooms were nice, kitchen and other areas were nice! Cons, none really. Two rooms ceiling fans wouldn’t come on, but didn’t need them, in June!
