Amazing views From every window. Perfect spot for daily beach trips for the family. The rooftop access was amazing to watch the dolphins.

Property was nice and reasonably priced compared to other nearby locations. Beds were comfortable and property had plenty of room for the four of us to each have our own space.

It’s a weird layout. You only have the bottom patio. The upstairs bedroom is actually away from the beach, the people that live above you have the upstairs patios. So the one patio you have is really, really small and not cozy at all. Location is incredible though. Gets pretty hot, at least when we stayed. Fans helped but was still pretty hot.

Stay was great! House is a great location and everything worked really well. Can’t beat the views for fireworks and overall beach access. Would definitely stay here again and probably will.

Property was fantastic! Great location. Easy walk to the beach. The two car garage is a great feature as street parking can fill up quickly. Would stay there again.

This is the perfect location if you want to enjoy La Jolla! Extremely walkable: 7 min to the beach, 5 min to a string of local shops and restaurants, 2-3 min to Starbucks, and 1-2 min to a little corner market that has basic groceries and hot food! I was thankful for the boogie boards and beach towels the house supplied. The beach toys were just alright.Our kids are 16, 12, & 9. The 12 and 9 year old stayed in the Queen bed together on the ground floor, 16 year old opted to sleep on the couch in the main living area instead up using one of the twin blow up mattresses, and my husband and I stayed in the master bedroom on the top floor. The master got too warm for me to sleep comfortably, so we kicked the air down a degree or two at night, ran the fan we found in the closet, and slept fine after that. Not too loud outside at night.The house was well cleaned. We didn’t use the oven, but used the stovetop daily. There were some basic spices and plenty of cookware. The only issue we had was the smoke alarm went off when no one was cooking one day. It was piercingly loud and we had to push buttons on every alarm on all floors to finally turn it off. I called the rental group and they got back to me via text fairly quickly, but we had already fixed it. This worked fine for our family of five this trip, but we would look at their larger house with 3 bedrooms for a future visit so my oldest could have his own room. We would definitely stay with this property owner again!

The views and the location speak for themselves, but that’s just the start. The furnishings and finishes are what you’d expect at a 5 star resort. And the kitchen is the best we’ve found- cooked all of our meals in the condo and did not feel that we had to compromise in a “vacation” kitchen - from the gas range to a wide range of cookware, to the plentiful dishes, silverware and glassware, we had everything we needed! And despite being on Mission Beach, it was quiet at night. The front patio was a favorite hangout and the kids loved s’mores over the fire pit. We’ve been coming to San Diego for years and this was by far our favorite rental experience. Highly recommend!

We had a great time being so close to the beach and within very close walking to great restaurants. It was a very busy weekend and the place was perfect for what we needed. I will say, the check in process has quite a few steps and the instructions are as good as they're going to get, but you do have to pay attention to details. Also, it is not set up to have people over, as there is lots of notice to not be noisy which was hard with older kids, but would be great if you wanted something quiet (although hard to do on the weekend of the 4th). A minor issue we had was that the power went out and it took a while to get someone to help with that and we were able to resolve. Overall, good experience!

This is the fifth time we've stayed at a surf style property in San Diego and it won't be the last. I already knew I loved this property, having stayed there last year, but it was even better this time. It's the little things that add up to a great stay. Clean white and comfortable linens and bedding. Full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Kitchen wares that are well cared for and make it easy to have home cooked meals while on vacation. Cable TV, patio, parking, AC. I almost don't want to leave this review so I can keep this place my secret. Can't go wrong with Surf Style!

Great view and close to everything

Amazing location and great two bedroom spot!

Beautiful house, awesome porch, decks and rooftop with ocean views even being a few houses in from the shoreline. The fire pit and grill on the roof were great. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beach towels, chairs, toys, surf and boogie boards provided were a plus!

Overall, a great place to stay. The beach is right there. can’t ask for something better than that.

Great stay, whole process from the start was impressive. Communications were fast and friendly and the house was awesome. Super simple to check in and out of the property.Location location location. What a great spot it’s so easy to get to the bayside beaches with little kids and the quick walk to the ocean side with a major crosswalk within a 100yds was perfect. The garage was huge and we could fit our Tahoe in there and have plenty of room for our beach stuff. Neighborhood is super quiet on this side of the action and we smiled a few times when we packed up for the night (ocean side) and came back to such a warm and quiet home. Markets and dining options everywhere and less than 1/2mile down the road which makes for some good strolls with the kiddos.Speaking of the home WOW! Three levels of comfort and style, all our needs were taken care of. Every family member raved about their rooms and the beds and we all slept great every night we were there. Kitchen was awesome and we had some great family meals while enjoying the breeze from the beach with the double sliding doors to the deck that open all the way up filling the house with the smell of the ocean. The access to SeaWorld and Belmont Park are second to none and every night we got to see the wonderful (and not loud) fireworks display from SeaWorld. You couldn’t have asked for a better spot to experience the 4th of July festivities that light up in a panoramic style all across the bay! Great times!
