Beautiful home walking distance to beach, sunsets, coffee and fun dining. The main road is adjacent to this corner property, but even with the bus stop nearby noise was never an issue. The only hard part was making a left turn onto the main road, as another property’s vehicle was constantly parked and blocking the view of the quite aggressive oncoming traffic - and unfortunately left was the direction we most needed for groceries or to go see the seals and sea lions. Not the property owners issue, but just letting other possible renters know. All in all, the walkability and fun and pleasant people of the local neighborhood, the beautiful relaxing well-appointed home, very comfortable beds, garage for easy parking for our rental sedan, and beach chairs, boogie boards, and towels more than made up for the two “Mario kart” runs to Trader Joe’s during our stay.

My family and I had a fantastic stay here. The unit has a nice layout with 3 bedrooms, each of which included a bathroom and smart TV. It also had a very nice kitchen and dining room area. The location is great, about halfway between Belmont Park and Crystal Pier, and within about a 10 minute walk to about a dozen restaurants/cafes. We would definitely go back.

Wonderful! Perfect location and well-appointed home. We especially loved the front area with fire pit and the rooftop deck (perfect to see the fireworks at SeaWorld). We will be back!

Clean, well stocked, as described! The upstairs unit gets very hot midday summer. Each room has a movable fan The kitchen has everything youll need including kids dishes! Beach towels, chairs, sand toys are all included too. The wakk to the beach is easy, although the beach itself is very rocky and has a strong undertow. Not ideal beach for kids. La Jolla is awesome! Great food too!

We've stayed in Mission Beach a few times now via Surf Style and all of the visits have been great. All of their properties are fully stocked, exceptionally well designed / decorated, and they've got the whole registration & checkin process down cold. This particular unit is on the third floor with about 30 stairs to climb from the entrance to the living space (exact number depends on which of my kids you ask). Mentioning only because that could be a physical challenge for some. The unit was beautiful and well appointed. It's steps away from the bay and the path that runs around it; maybe 4 blocks / 5-min walk from Belmont Park and everything around there; and 3 blocks from the beach. There's a nice pocket park right behind it with an outdoor fitness circuit. The balcony has child safe railings, which we really appreciated with a 1 1/2-year-old (no way for him to somehow get through). It also has zoned a/c (you control the temp in each room individually) which is a great perk for a late summer Mission Beach rental as many units don't have a/c and it can get pretty toasty. The parking (like every place in Mission Beach) is crazy tight. I was able to fit our Kia minivan in by folding in the rear view mirrors and taking advantage of the bit of open space directly behind the garage. If you've never tested your skills on a Mission Beach garage just be aware that you'll get roughly 1.5' of space on each side (at most). Leave the F150 Raptor at home! Overall it was a wonderful stay and we look forward to booking with Surf Style again.

Room was smaller than we expected. Pictures are deceiving. Location was great. Loved being on the less busy Bay side. Overall it was great and we will definitely be returning.

Great location, clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We will be back to rent this place again or another one in the same building, I am sure they are all in great condition.
