We loved the location and the apartment. Walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants. 10-minute walk to the beach and to the Bird Rock area. Management was super responsive to any requests. Would stay here again.

Ideal location for a large family. Right on the bay, and a short walk to the ocean. Property was a bit worn out - in need of an update. Pictures on website made it look more upscale than it really is. That said, it was still a wonderful property and we will return in the future.

This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The kitchen was well stocked and accommodated several people preparing food (and eating it) with no problem. The outdoor space was delightful and a wonderful place to gather for dinner at the end of the day. The beach toys, chairs and awning/tent, and cart were in great shape and certainly came in handy. The garage was a pleasant surprise as we could park a mini-van (tight, but we made it) and an additional vehicle in it. The location was perfect as the bay, the Pacific Ocean, Belmont Amusement Park, and great places to grab a bite to eat were all within easy walking distance. This truly was the perfect place for our family reunion.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The unit is small but has absolutely everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The location relative to the boardwalk and beach couldn't be beat!! It was also a bonus to have a parking space. The batteries in the keypad on the door needed to be replaced during our stay. They were easy to get a hold of and had them replaced within a few hours. They had also reached out after we arrived to check if everything was ok. I would absolutely stay here again.

The place was great! Would recommend for sure. My issue was with Surf Style. I booked 2 months ago, Air B+B listing said A/C. We always look for a place with parking+A/C. 4 days before our arrival date Surf Style says no A/C. Why the wait? Pretty lame This shouldn't reflect on the owners. The place is great! We would have stayed somewhere else though if we knew there was no A/C.

Location, location, location! Right on the beach, Rip Curl 2 is spacious, on the second floor so the view is spectacular with some privacy. The garage is a tight squeeze, not sure a really big car will fit, our BMW X3 just barely made it.

Comfortable excellent location , enjoyed walking to the beach . Nice and quiet neighborhood . We will be back next year.

This apartment was in such a convenient location. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the bay, swimming in the bay and walking along the ocean walk. We had what we needed in the kitchen and found the bed to be comfortable. Lovely apartment.

Our family had the best time during our recent stay in La Jolla. We were in town for our sons wedding and were joined by the rest of our kids and their families. The accommodations were beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, and the best appointed rentals I have ever stayed in. There was literally everything that you could ever have needed to make our stay complete. The dual units served our family well and provided ideal proximity to one another but enough space to provide quiet time for the little ones whenever needed. Huge plus for us was the garages and parking spaces allotted to the two units. We were able to fit everyone's vehicles in the oversized units which meant we could simply walk through town and not have to worry about parking. We are already taking about staying here again for another family vacation.

Beautiful stay! If ever given the chance to book again, we would!
