Clean updated modern units are always appreciated by me & my husband as we are quite particular in our travel accommodations. This house rental is located in a great walked neighborhood, very close to the boardwalk and the Rec center. Any problems that arise are immediately addressed by the owner (we did not have any problems - just a question on the TV remote). I highly recommend using surfstyle for your vacation rentals.

Beach was awesome, property great, plenty of restaurants in the area that you can walk to. big thumbs up.

Location of the house was amazing! So nice to be able to just hop the wall and be on the sand. And the sunset view could not have been better! The house had everything we needed, including lots of clothing storage space in the bedrooms. Kitchen had what we needed as well but could use some upgrades, such as the cookie sheets and smaller spoons (they were all large sized). Overall, this house was amazing and we'd stay here again for sure.

Our family had a great time at this townhouse! It's a beautiful place in the perfect location between the bay and the ocean. The photos are spot on and it had everything we needed. I was concerned about possible noise being close to a main street and the beach, but it was quiet while we were there, which was great. Fyi, they do have some requirements around how low or high you can set the A/C -- which was fine for us during that time of year, but if you're visiting when it's unusually hot or cold, you may wish it could go higher or lower. The only other slight downside is that parking garage in the back alley -- it is tiiiight. We had a regular size sedan so made it, but that still took some maneuvering. Overall the townhouse is great, and it's all about the location here -- just a few steps to the bay and a few more steps to the ocean beach. It's also easy walking to coffee shops, the amusement park, etc. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is exactly as described and location was perfect. Everything was walkable. We did have challenges with parking as we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and it was a beautiful beach day but during the week there were no parking issues.The weather was warm so we had to use the fans during the evening and they worked pretty good. Only one issue we reported to the host was regarding the door from the lane level up the stairs. The door would bang quite loudly if the user didn’t hold it to close. The sound could be quite jarring but when reported they said they would look after it. Even though a couple minor issues we really enjoyed the unit and location and would book again.

We really enjoyed this rental, and appreciated amenities like a refrigerator with an ice maker, comfortable beds and strong water pressure. There was an abundance of flies that made sitting outside on the nice patio less pleasant and it would have been great to have more counter space in the bathrooms.

Incredible location. Directly on the boardwalk. Very walkable to both oceanfront walk and bayfront walk.

Clean with a great location overlooking the ocean/nice beach within walking distance (0.5 miles) to restaurants. Very open living room/dining room area, however, a bit outdated with a small balcony and small second bathroom. Very easy check-in process and excellent communications with the property manager.

Perfect beach location with the best patio to take in nightly sunsets, lots of opportunities for morning dolphin watching, incredible waves to body surf/boogie board and steps (less than 10) to the powdery sand of Mission Beach. It was the perfect spot for two families to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer.

The master bedroom behind tv was a bit alarming. Doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned for a while.

Great place, in a great location. we loved it there and would definitely stay again.
