Excellent

Clean, simple, no clutter like other places we have rented. It was just what we needed for our 3 nights. Neighbors are quiet and we felt safe. There is a walk up Mexican food bar about 1/2 a mile from the house, really yummy tacos. You can walk on the sand from the patio, but you can't see the ocean from the patio. You can see a public parking lot for beach goers from the patio, not a big deal as it is obscured behind some bushes. You have to walk to the beach to see the ocean which was okay for us, but if you really want to see and hear the ocean from your VRBO didn't stay here. We really wanted to hear the ocean at night, so I just turned on ocean waves in my YouTube music app.

Bay side is quiet with beautiful views. The sunrises are amazing. Many restaurants within walking distance. If you’re looking to people watch two blocks over to the ocean side. Enjoyed the comfy bed and deck to watch the wildlife and others enjoying the water. Would stay again

Great places to stay! We had two of the houses. Right by the Bay and only a short walk to the ocean! The boardwalk is right there and the kids had a blast! The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Surf Style was great at communication throughout the stay. Great location on the beach, lovely patio, steps to the boardwalk. Loved the location, obviously, but also super cute places to walk to grab a morning coffee, quick groceries, a bite to eat. We will be back to stay in any Surf Style property on our next visit.

I stayed at this great property for 3 nights while in SD for a conference at the convention center. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town. ⭐️
Location:
Very easy to find, super close to Little Italy area with tons of great places to eat, but it was quiet and not in the middle of the noisy party places. I walked to the convention center easily too, which was a plus.
Safety: I felt very safe
Cleanliness: Very clean, no issues
Amenities: I didn’t have a ton of time to hang out because I was working, but it was super cute & welcoming. There was a sofa, an alcove for games & extra hanging out space, a kitchen area with coffee, tea, fridge, etc.
The bed was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable. I may ask the owners the brand/model because I would love to buy one.
I didn’t need any support from the owners, but I did receive very clear instructions beforehand.
Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this cute and well-maintained property if you’re visiting San Diego. It’s lovely!

Great condo in a wonderful location.

Check in was easy using the text and email with door code. The property was perfect for a relaxing weekend near the beach. Very safe and quiet but not too far from restaurants and coffee shops. The heaters for the rooms were much appreciated!

Needed a place for a few days and this house was perfect. Lots of space that is well utilized, listened to the waves as we went to sleep, a cozy fireplace to sit by and read and a responsive host. Would highly recommend this house.

Surf Shack 6 is a cozy, well appointed home. The beds a very comfortable and the natural light throughout is so nice! We enjoyed walking to WindanSea beach and to several nearby restaurants.

Home was very comfortable and clean! We were a group of five women and the space was just what we needed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. The parking is small, definitely doable, but a tight fit with a bigger vehicle. We found a few good spots to eat within walking distance and a grocery store is nearby. Nice little weekend!

Absolutely amazing, every single part of it, nothing to complain about

We had a great time. A great location. Very good communication from host company. Needed a propane refill for grill and they got it to us super fast. Will definitely come back with our kids

This 2 bedroom is in a great location. Easy walk to coffee, restaurants, and the beach. House was very clean.

It was the perfect location for a vacation. The accommodation was so comfortable and nice that we basically cooked at home instead of going out every night. a perfect home away from home.
