Stunning location, great host…highly recommend staying here. The fire pit didn’t work, but they quickly ordered a new one so we could enjoy for a few days. Would stay again all day!

We had an incredible stay at this rental property! The location was perfect—close to so many fun activities, delicious restaurants, and unique shops. We will truly miss the long, peaceful walks along the waterfront, which quickly became a highlight of our trip. The views of the Pacific Ocean were breathtaking, and the sunrises and sunsets were absolutely spectacular—a true slice of paradise! The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it a fantastic home base for exploring the area. We can't wait to return!

Perfect house for a large family reunion, and also a perfect location. We had easy access to the beach, and very walkable to many wonderful restaurants.

The perfect beach lover’s retreat! The space is clean and comfortable. More importantly it is only just a few steps to the beach. Very convenient to dining as well. We hope to come back!

The location was literally steps from both the beach and the bay. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked. Easy walking distance to grocery stores, drug stores, etc.The rental team was great when we needed new towels due to our family getting the Norovirus while there. We did have to purchase our own toilet paper as the rental comes with a finite amount (definitely adequate if a family wasn't sick). We saw our neighbor only once and never heard him. We would have liked the added security of a deadbolt on the door to our place as it only locked with a code. The code was the same as the gate, so we were concerned that the neighbor may be able to access our apartment as well (never confirmed with the company, so this may have been a needless worry). Overall, it made an excellent home base for our trip to San Diego.

SurfStyle Vacation Homes has been great to work with. They have managed our Pacific Beach Home for 5 years. Every time we show up our home looks clean and like new. They are responsive and have the best staff. Dana has been with the company since we first listed and helps us with our maintenance needs. We also love Farrah and Cassie too. Cheri is the new manager and she seems to know the SD market pricing well. Surfstyle makes sure your property is always inspected before and after each rental. This is one of the most important things as a vacation rental. They use a top notch cleaning company as well. We have a home in Winter Park, CO and we had issues with the local property management company. We asked Surfstyle to handle the property remotely and it has worked great. I hired our own cleaning company and inspector. If I had another vacation rental property I would use them again. I was surprised to see the negative reviews. Yes, they do vet guests to avoid the parties. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood and not a party atmosphere. I am happy they vet our guests. You guys are great Surfstyle!

We stayed in South Mission Beach in a 2 bedroom condo and could hear the waves crashing from our place! The dogs loved the big yard. Had a small issue with our heater but management was very quick to respond and had the problem solved within an hour. We already booked the same home to come back in summer and we can't wait! Thank you so much!

Been staying with Surf Style for about 10 years in many different properties. Excellent customer service, homes are always clean and welcoming!

The home is beautiful and feels like you walked into a catalog! The location is wonderful. It’s right off a fairly busy but not super noisy street. There is a bus stop on the main street near the property. The property is walking distance to the beach, La Jolla Shores shops and restaurants and La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. It was easy access to main roads to get to La Jolla, North County and south to the zoo and Coronado. Parking is in the garage associated with the unit which is convenient and spacious. Beach accessories in the garage were wonderful. Notably, the second (non-primary) is on the ground level next to the garage and entry from street level. Air mattresses are available if this location is not ideal for your needs (I.e. young kids). The living spaces are a delight to stay in.There were a few small areas that may have escaped notice of the housekeeping staff. It may also be that these areas simply acquired a bit of dust/debris since the last clean as it is not the busy season. This is a bit picky item that I think many people may not even notice. It did not detract from the comfort and beauty of the unit!Overall, a lovely rental that we would love to stay in again!
