Belmont Shores in Mission Beach (with Surfside) was a terrific base for our San Diego explorations. Its a central location to travel up the coast, head to nearby SeaWorld, or into downtown to explore the Gaslamp District, Old Town or take the ferry to Coronado. The condo was clean and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glassware and some basics for cooking. The beds were comfortable, spacious living areas and amazing views of the beach as it woke each morning and ended the day in spectacular sunsets. Bathrooms were clean and nice and the A/C and garage were a big plus. The people-watching of the daily boardwalk promenade was endlessly entertaining. The area has everything you would want. Its very walkable to a wide variety of equipment rentals, rides and attractions and a big selection of dining choices. Communication with the hosts was stellar, with regular reminder emails, responsive to any questions, easy access instructions and check in/out primers. Wed highly recommend.

Loved the location! ! The set up of both houses with a shared backyard was perfect for three families and our dogs. Houses were clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and all the beach gear provided for use was an added bonus.

The hot tub was perfect. Kitchen and home were well stocked. Great location.

Everything was as described but the oceanfront and beach access were the stars of this property. Can’t wait to go back

The rental included all necessitites though it was lacking in some niceties, such as towel racks in master bath (picky). It is 30 steps from garage/front door to living area. Garage is TIGHT (but dedicated clean parking provided) and includes some basic beach items (chairs, cooler, toys)! Beds were super comfortable and kitchen, while City tight, had all the essentials. Highly recommend for access to both Bay & Oceanside and only 15 - 20 minute drive to SeaWorld, Old Town, Zoo, etc.

Absolutely wonderful location within walking distance to Mission Beach and the bay. The home was beautiful and overall very clean.
The only challenges we experienced were the tandem parking garage, which was difficult to navigate with our minivans—especially since street parking wasn’t available during the busy Easter weekend and we had young kids with us. The Wi-Fi connection was also weak throughout the house.
Overall, a great place to stay in an excellent location.

Great location so much in walking distance! So many good restaurants along the water and in little Italy. Clean and beautiful area of downtown and never loud. Easy to get to anything in San Diego. Everything else was about 10-15 minutes away by car (Coronado island, Mission beach, Zoo, etc). The home was super spacious and clean. We didn’t use it but there was a beautiful kitchen which was fully stocked. Garage fit our SUV easy and was so convenient to have. A good amount of steps but not unbearable. We would stay again it was perfect!

Perfect place for two. It’s in walking distance to everything you could need. The view was amazing and the bay was very quiet. While the parking spaces were a bit tight, definitely appreciated having a dedicated spot.

Enjoyed our stay. Hope to comeback.

This was perfect for our family of 5! We loved the location to the beach and restaurants! The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet! It was a great vacation!

The house is in a great spot, only a few houses from the beach. Easy walking to restaurants and for groceries. You could easily skip having a car. We fit a mid size SUV (Blazer) in the garage, but it took some careful maneuvering.
Layout is nice for a group - two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms with a shared hallway bath. Lot of stairs so not great for little kids, our 2.5 year old was fine but had to be watchful.
Place had many beach towels and chairs. We used the free rental provided to get umbrella and bikes from a nearby place - very nice.
Two minor quibbles. 1 - the outside spaces are disjointed. There’s one the ground floor but not much for lounging there. The main area with grill and seating on the fourth floor roof is a long way from the kitchen. 2 - the host is a company that manages a lot of rentals. They do a good job but use their own website. It would have been more convenient to have all info with Airbnb.
