This was a fantastic home to stay in. Looking out to the ocean each morning and watching the sunsets each night was priceless. This home had everything we could have possibly needed! Perfect for a family of 4, I wouldn’t try to put anymore in the house. I would 100% stay here again.

Had a great time at our Surf Style rental, we were steps away from the beach. We took full advantage of the bike rentals that came with our place. The studio was clean and everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We will definitely be booking again with Surf Style Vacation homes.

Had the place for a month during an internship and it was great — especially for the price and location. Parking was not an issue even though the unit did not come with a designated spot. The only thing I would prepare for is the bed is not comfortable whatsoever. I ended up sleeping on an air mattress for most of the time because I couldn’t do the pull out. I bought a thinner foam pad and left it in the unit, so hopefully that helps

Did not like the washer/dryer combo, very confusing and there was no way to do a “dry only” function on this model.

We stay at mission beach every summer so we have tried a lot of houses. We loved that this house had two units together that had an amazing porch in between them. The beds were very soft , with lots of pillows , which I love. We loved being able to rent bikes and boogie boards for. There are things that need upgrading and fixed but not a deal killer. We really had a great time and would love to rent again. Also this side of mission beach is the best area for family’s

Great location right on the bay and a very short walk to Mission beach. Tons of restaurants in walking distance and less than 1/2 hr from anything you would want to do in SD. Nice having own garage and the beach chairs were useful. Great views from windows and nice outdoor space with grill/fire pit.

We had a great stay at the penthouse apartment. We loved being just a few steps from the beach and a short walk from good restaurants and shops. We even walked 15 minutes north to the gym and grocery store. The included beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards were great. Figuring out the key access for the building and elevator was daunting at first but no problem once we got the hang of it and the building did seem very secure. For an apartment setting it was surprisingly quiet. It doesn’t have a ton of windows and we visited during a particularly hot week but the portable AC helped (a real mini-split would be better!). We asked for an extra fan and the managers responded right away - excellent service!

This is the perfect little cozy spot in Mission beach on the bayside. The patio is a small space, but they really utilized the layout. The bed was super comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the kitchen was spacious. The location truly cannot be beat! It was perfect for me, my boyfriend, and our dog.
