My husband and I along with our Labradoodle recently enjoyed a stay at this cottage on Seabrook Island. Overall, we had a nice vacation and appreciated several aspects of the property.
The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with the kitchen essentials needed for our stay. The bedding was especially comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep after long days at the beach.
There were a few minor issues that kept the experience from being exceptional. The front glass door was damaged at the bottom, making it difficult to open and close. The kitchen was quite small and really only accommodated one person at a time. The bathrooms also lacked sufficient counter space for toiletries and other essentials. A larger full-length mirror would also be a nice addition to the cottage.
One feature we were looking forward to enjoying was the outdoor seating area outside the bedroom. Unfortunately, the wicker chairs did not have cushions, making them uncomfortable to use. I contacted housekeeping as instructed and received a prompt response that someone would bring cushions, but unfortunately no one ever arrived during our stay.
Additionally, the outdoor water hose was not connected, which made it difficult to rinse off beach sand before coming back inside the cottage.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodations and convenient location. With a few small improvements and better follow-through on maintenance requests, this cottage could provide an even better guest experience.
