After searching for a few days, my friends and I found this home and we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. From getting the arrangements made to pulling out of the driveway for our return home, the experience is one we won't forget and are grateful to have had. With the hundreds of year old trees lining the street greeting visitors at the entrance, to the serene moment sipping morning coffee on the screened in porch, our trip was filled with peace and relaxation. This home had everything we needed to fully enjoy our vacation experience stress-free. This home is the perfect blend of charm, comfort and amenities. It was well maintained and clean, with a nice backyard overlooking the Ocean Winds Course and the bountiful wildlife that inhibits the lagoon. While most of our trip was filled with golf rounds at Seabrook Island's two BEAUTIFUL golf courses, we did get to the wide, unspoiled beach a couple of days while fishing and saw dolphins, crabs, sand dollars, and gorgeous sunsets. Riding the bikes around the island in the cool morning breeze or on the beach was the perfect way to start the day. The beach is about a 4-5 minute drive, depending on which access you choose. You can also ride the bikes and park them in a bike rack at most access points. We truly had a wonderful, wonderful time. The owners are accessible, accommodating and eager to make each guest's trip a great experience! We love coming here, the beach and the island itself are our favorite place to visit year after year! We stayed here last year as well; very clean and fully equipped. Sun porch was updated since we last visited which has more seating than before! All was great!

Seabrook is the most wonderful and relaxing vacation spot our family has ever visited. The natural scenery and wildlife is spectacular. The views from various parts of the island offer different panoramas depending on your desire for ocean, tree covered shade, marsh, inlet water way or lagoon. Our family has stayed on Seabrook on seven different occasions. The Tarpon Pond Cottage was our favorite to date. The view and location was incredible, we could sleep our entire family comfortably, the porches were wonderful for relaxing and dining, everything we might need was available. We had a marvelous vacation and would highly recommend this location.

My favorite passtime was sitting in the screen porch watching the wildlife in the pond at the end if the yard. The sunsets from the beach are a sight to see and if you want a snack you can ride down to Freshfields, a smart shopping area or Bohicket Marina, both just outside the Seabrook gates. We loved this place and will be back.

We have been coming to Seabrook for 17 years off and on, mostly on. We enjoy the idea of it being a private area, all the amenities that are available to guests, and the feeling of family when you arrive on the island! This was our first time staying in a cottage type home and we were pleasantly surprised! The cottage was clean, roomy for the seven of us, and we really enjoyed the screened in porch looking out over the lagoon/golf course. The house was sufficiently supplied and maintained. Bravo! I found Coastal Getaways to be very informative about our stay, sending us plenty of information before, during, and after. Thank you Nancy and staff! We would certainly rent 513 Tarpon Pond cottage again!
