Driving to Seabrook Island is a treat for me because you cannot help but see the beauty of the trees and the houses along the route. Driving on Seabrook Island is relaxing from the time you see the first horse and the marsh. Unwinding for me began as soon as I saw the beautiful trees that lined the road to the cottage. The cottage was adorable and cozy! We enjoyed eating and hanging out on the screened back porch. The deer, turkeys, and other wildlife were fun to watch from the back porch too. Walking on the beach and watching the dolphins was also relaxing. We had everything we needed in the cottage and if we wanted something else that was not included like food and drinks, we drove to the village shops and did some good shopping, which was also relaxing. No need to leave Seabrook Island once you arrive. Really it just does not make sense to leave this island paradise. I wish we were still there.

Our stay at 550 Tarpon Pond Cottage was more than we could ever have wanted. The cottage was cozy and quiet. The décor was very pretty - whites and blues and many coastal pictures and decorations. The beds and furniture were comfortable and we had everything that we desired. The kitchen is a bit small but it was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and glasses, silverware, coffee pot, mixer, blender, toaster, water filter and all sorts of extra cooking utensils . The bedrooms were bright and inviting. There were television sets with cable in both the living room and master bedroom. The television in the second downstairs bedroom was only usable with DVD's. The Wifi was exceptional. The cell phone service was terrible. We loved walking around Seabrook Island and enjoyed the beach. Because you are not allowed to walk on the golf courses or golf cart paths, it was not as quick to get to the beach because you had to drive to get there. But, it was a short drive. It would have been nice to have bikes but we didn't want to pay extra to rent them. It was a quick drive to Freshfields Village and Bohicket Market/Marina. We even used the medical office in Freshfields Village and they were very welcoming and helpful. The rental agency was quick to take care of any problems that we encountered and were very pleasant to work with. All in all, it was a wonderful time. We can't wait to return.

Excellent stay ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our cozy cottage. It was easy to settle in. It was stocked with almost every item that we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The rooms were a nice size although the kitchen is a bit small. The cottage was clean and very inviting. The rental company was very helpful. All we had to do was call them if we needed something. This is our first experience doing this and we are looking forward to returning next year.

This cottage is so comfortable and pretty! Close to everything and very well-designed. The kitchen has everything you need, and it's also a short drive or bike ride to the village and its restaurants. The beach is spectacular!
