Everything was great! Absolutely loved the location with the boardwalk to the beach in the backyard! Perfect house for my family and great that it was pet friendly too. Lots of room, quiet, and clean - who could ask for more. We hope to have many future vacations here!

My family of 6 adults and 2 children stayed in this wonderful home. It was perfect for our group. The house was spacious, well cared for, clean, with a fully stocked kitchen and located on a great spot on the island. We said it had the best of both worlds—we were nestled into greenery and nature with only a 5 minute boardwalk trot to the beach. The amenity cards got us into the pool at Seabrook, which was just a .5 mile walk down the beach—the perfect amount of exercise on vacation :) The pool also had a nice restaurant overlooking the ocean that was great for lunches. The drive into Charleston was about 45 minutes, with the beautiful old oaks dangling with Spanish moss making the drive feel quick and scenic. The island itself is well maintained, full of nature, and very residential. It was very dog friendly, and we also saw a lot of deer, frogs, lizards, & bunnies (luckily we didn't spot the gators we heard local folks talking about). You can also see the sea turtles and dolphins if you go to certain spots on the island at specific times of day. We hope to come back and visit this house many times in the future for our yearly visit to the Charleston area.

The Location was spectacular - we've been to seabrook four times, never had one like this. Worth the premium for sure. The house was plenty large for our family, in fact could have hosted another family with us - for some reason that wasn't really clear to us in the description. Also we found the kitchen to be very well equipped and the extra fridge an enormous bonus. On the other hand, the house clearly has been neglected over the years - and though I'd guess the current owner has begun to slowly update it - it's behind the other houses around it. The house needs all new floors - the carpet is very dated. The bathrooms are all a bit dated and need targeted improvements throughout. Even the well equipped kitchen looks old. The door from the kitchen to the deck was extremely hard to open, and the deck itself, though comfortable and shaded, is a bit dicey and feels soft in places. However - we appreciate the value of the house. For the price we paid to get that close to the beach - we can understand that some part of the house must not quite be up to par. All-in-all - we had a great experience. We could definitely see ourselves renting this house again purely because of the location/value - but - it would be nice to see updates continuing to be made here. This was our third stay on Seabrook, with this May-June 2021 being our "usual" vacation for just-out-of-school-get-me-to-the-beach time. We looked to avoid large crowds and gatherings, and again Seabrook delivered. This house is located ~ 3 houses in from the beach on Boardwalk 4. It is only a 3-4 minute easy walk from the door to the sand, and it is completely peaceful the entire time. We really enjoyed being able to take our dog with us on this trip, and Seabrook has very friendly dog/leash policies. Along with a spacious house for our family and extended family, plus so many things to do/see within just an easy walk or bike ride, this house and location will be a definite favorite for a future trip.

The house was great. It had a good kitchen that was stocked with good cookware. There were some all clad cookware pans, large pots for low country boil, lots of bake sheets. Having two refrigerators was very nice. One for drinks, and the other for food. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The family room was very nice. Large screen TV, with instructions on the remotes. One of the greatest features of this house were its porches. There were three porch areas. So even when we had a rain day, we could still gather under the skylight on one porch and enjoy the sound of rain.

So close to the beach from the walkway at the house. Lovely layout, great porches, clean. Guest can not wait to return.
