Loved this location, it is a private cul de sac and while there is island beach access we found it to still be mostly private for the long weekend. The views while are distant to the ocean due to the dunes and marsh land make it even even more beautiful. The deck and screened in porch make for perfect entertaining area for beautiful weather or plenty of space inside open airy living room / dinning and kitchen. We found that this was the best equipped home we have ever rented through VRBO/HomeAway/ARBNB in more than 10 years of renting vacation homes for our family. For the first time ever I didn’t need most of the kitchen stuff I packed. It was perfect! Wildlife, nature trails and the mostly vacant beach made this long family getaway perfect for our adult children and ourselves. There is a small Harris Teeter, Sporting Good’s store, boutiques and more within a short distance for those wanting to shop without going into Charleston. We feel this area and home really has everything you need to make everyone happy. Who knew that was possible. Comfortable beds, seating, bathrooms and kitchen could have granite but other than that we felt much like we were at home. We will certainly consider for the future!
