The open living area, well-stocked kitchen, beach decor, and comfortable bedding was perfect for our family. We loved the central location of Chateau by the Green that allowed us to bike to the Lake House and the beach. We would gladly stay here again!

It's always nice to arrive to a rental property and be pleasantly surprised. This place certainly feels like an owner-shared property. Kitchen is rather stocked for easy cooking. We had our two daughters (1 and 3) and my parents and it was a perfect size. They even had a pack-n-play, so all we did was bring a mattress and sheets - super easy. Furniture and decor is very well done and cozy. This did not feel like a typical rental property - it felt more like a 2nd home, complete with the owner's family pics on the walls and shelves. Don't be shy of the location... while it's still a drive to the Beach Club or Lakehouse, it's such a short drive to both with plenty of parking. And it's close to Freshfields Market which is nice. I know several folks talked about trimming the hedges, but I didn't see that as a problem... stand up and see golfers putting on the nearby green, sit down and you get your privacy while reading a book. Inclusion of the Amenity Card was golden... we went to the kids' pool area every day and everyone was friendly and shared the space respectfully. Food and vibe at Pelican Nest was perfect. We will definitely be back.

The property was amazing, beautifully decorated and maintained, pics on VRBO need to be updated as some furniture has changed which looks better! Love the amenities, this is what differentiates from Kiawah in my opinion.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Chateau by the Green. The house had everything we could have asked for which allowed us to truly make ourselves at home. The owners left beach equipment for us to use, which made our time on the beach much more enjoyable. While we were on Seabrook, we enjoyed the amenity card access to the pools and fitness center as well. We have already talked about wanting to stay at this property again!

This was a very clean and comfortable house. The beds were comfortable, there is an apple tv in the living room and good working space in the kitchen. Although it was too hot most of the time to sit outside, there was a really nice screened in porch as well as another adjoining porch with rockers and grill. The island is beautiful and easy to get around with a car or electric vehicle (or bike if you are fit). We were in the middle of the island and about a mile and a half from the beach. The beach was beautiful, plenty of space, and usually had a nice breeze. You could either be on the beach by the ocean or right above it there were chaise lounges with umbrellas also on sand that overlooked the ocean. Right behind that was the pool. Towels were available with the amenity card for free. We did not take advantage of the Pelican's Nest restaurant which was also right there but it had a great view of the ocean as well. On the other side of the island closer to the entrance was a lake house that also had an indoor pool for exercise and an outdoor pool as well. We would recommend updated pictures on the website (furniture looks a little different) and it is only 2 bathrooms, not 2.5. We would also recommend trimming the hedges to see the golf course a little more. Also, the grill is beginning to peel on the inside cover which would drop onto food if not aware. Our complaints were very few and we loved our time at 2501 Chateau on the Green. We felt like we were at home and Nancy was always quick to respond to any questions/comments. Thank you for allowing us a wonderful vacation!

The entire experience was fantastic. My kids loved their rooms/beds. The living area was so spacious so we weren't on top of one another. The beach and pool at Seabrook are amazing. We fed the horses every single day. And the convenience of Freshfield Village was perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
