Thank you so much for all of your help in reserving our new favorite villa on Seabrook! You were certainly correct in telling us this one was a keeper! We had such a relaxing Christmas vacation with our son and daughter-in-law and precious pup, Bradford. Although the weather only allowed Newt and Tim to take advantage of the free golf one day, they certainly appreciated it. We loved the layout of this villa. The furnishings were very nice and for the most part, beds were comfortable. (the twin bed was awful though – not sure if there was an issue with the box spring or the mattress) The sheets were so soft – I’d love to know what brand they are! And we really appreciated how many towels there were! As I said in my review below, this was the one of the best equipped kitchens ever. My son is a gourmet cook and prepared us an incredible Christmas dinner. As the week warmed, we were able to take advantage of using the deck and screened porch. The owners had one of the cabinets stocked with spices, cooking oil spray, saran wrap, tons of plastic storage containers and nearly an entire cabinet available for food storage! That is usually the biggest problem with a rental unit, the kitchens are usually small and the cabinets contain dishes and cookware leaving no room for the food you need to store. The console table in the great room was full of items you might need but wouldn’t have thought to bring with you – scissors, lighters, matches, tape etc. These owners have certainly thought of everything! We also appreciated having a grill right outside the door. The only thing lacking when we arrived was there were only 4 or 5 hangers in the entire villa but Nancy came to the rescue within minutes! The service man came quickly to check the hot water problem too. He explained that the pipes are exposed under the house and when it’s chilly outside, it takes quite a while to get the hot water to all the faucets. Maybe a note in the unit in the winter would help avoid a service call in the future.
