What I enjoyed most about my island vacation was that I had my children and grandchildren together with us. They all seemed to have a great time and found plenty to do despite the invariably hot and humid weather. The property that we stayed in was very well designed in that, unlike many, when someone was in the kitchen or living room cooking or watching tv when someone else was trying to sleep, there was little disturbance. There was seating for 8 both inside and outside and two different seating areas in the same great room with the kitchen also a half bath on the first floor so one didn't have to troop upstairs or use the master bath. It was also great when we found the remotes for the garage door so we could use the garage as we had three cars total and the driveway is not generous. Despite the heat, some of the family used the screened porch with the fans running and enjoyed the views of the golf course. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed the freedomIt would have been helpful to have very specific directions as to setting up tv watching both upstairs and down as some tvs had Netflix plus regular cable, others had no Netflix, another seemed to have only Netflix. Having Netflix and the ability to use a cable DVR was great (that was a first in a rental that we've found), but step by step to get it initially working would have saved us some frustration. to exercise in that way and see the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
