We LOVED our Seabrook Island vacation! Our entire family’s favorite space is, of course, the beach! Everyday is a new adventure in sea life discoveries, tide pool finds, and playing in the surf. We witnessed dolphins feeding, exploring and playing in the surf (my personal favorite) as well as collecting a fun variety of shells, and finding live sand dollars! One of the other best aspects or our trip was the friendliness of the people we met on the beach at Seabrook. The dolphin patrol volunteers and residents of the island that we met welcomed us warmly and shared island and beach tips openly with us. This was such a welcome change coming from all the Covid restrictions and tension in Ohio. The home where we stayed was perfectly beautiful! There was plenty of well-designed space, and it was very well-equipped to meet the needs of our large family. We were ready for some “social distancing” of our own. 😉 My daughters and I particularly enjoyed the screened back porch in the mornings. The chorus of ducks, birds and frogs, etc. was a beautiful way to start the day. The only thing we think needs to be shared upon arrival is how the front door lock works and where to find the operating instruction booklets for the appliances, thermostat, etc. We had never encountered a lock that requires the handle to be lifted in order to lock the door. Also, all booklets were located in the drawer beside the refrigerator. Thank you!
