The house was beautiful and worked well for our needs. The bar stools and dining table fit our family well (kids preferred the barstools). One bedroom (with the 3 beds) could use a ceiling fan or plug in fan. There were 3 people in that room and they got kind of warm at night. Screened porch was awesome and fit all 10 of us. We did several loads of laundry so that was very helpful.Beach equipment – folding chairs, umbrellas, sand cart – were a life saver. The change of scenery was completely new for us, the coastal forests, the beaches, it was really unique for us. Seabrook is a very well-manicured, well-maintained place. Kind of feels like that movie Pleasantville. Humidity and heat were a bit rough even though we come from a humid state. Pool and beach were the preferred activities. The ocean was so warm and pleasant. Beaches were spacious, clean and uncrowded. We also loved bike riding (kayaking and horseback riding were skipped). We loved the bike pathways; biking to the pool house, biking to the beach, to watch the sunset at Bohicket Marina. Very accessible even with kids. We went to the beach everyday and would not have been possible without umbrellas. The umbrella posts may need to be checked for wear and tear. Previous guests may not have been using the post hole digger for sticking posts in the ground.

Dear Coastal Team We loved our stay on 2888 Old Drake Drive! The home and grounds are super clean. The rooms and kitchen are well appointed, and importantly, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The building is situated on large private lot surrounded by palms right on a waterway that’s a few minutes from the beach, horseback riding, dolphin feeding, restaurants, and shopping. We also felt welcome from the first stop at the security hut to the booklet containing everything a vacationer would want to know about the property and surrounding activities. The kitchen with it’s Wolf range, dishwasher, disposal, giant refrigerator-freezer with filtered water, and ample pots, pans, dishes, and silverware is perfect for feasting morning, noon, and night. If you want a fun, relaxing, getaway with family and friends, this is the place!

We enjoyed our week stay at this lovely 2888 Old Drake Drive house. The back of the house faces a lagoon, yes there are crocodiles in there! The landscaping is amazing with mature tall trees of every variety, which makes the house feel kind of private too. The entire island landscaping is amazing, very unique if you’re not from a coastal area. Make sure to read over all the Island rules in your welcome packet, there are a few (no hanging towels on deck, no standing at edge of lagoon, dress codes for restaurants, etc). Our family had 4 adults and 6 kids ages 4-15. The room divvying lead to single people having their own rooms and families with kids in their own rooms. Two of the rooms (one upstairs, one midlevel) could fit a blow up bed on the floor for kids, the other rooms could not have. Just some info for families who may need it. Some of the bikes were not useable (tires with no tubes or values to blow up) or not safe (twisting handlebars), but we ended up ordering more bikes through Seaside Cycles which brings them right to your house. Swimming and biking were the top activities. We biked to Bohicket Marina to watch sunsets too. Note don’t bike after dark, the island is dark, unless you bring your own headlamp. The house has two beach umbrellas, a sand stake digger, several beach chairs (plenty for our group), two sand carts to haul the items to the beach, some other beach items. The beach was everyone’s favorite activity. The beaches (there is a map for all the boardwalk entry points) were clean, spacious, uncrowded water was so warm for an ocean, easy waves for kids, really lovely! The Lake house pool was an easy biking distance, but the Beach house pool we drove to mainly due to having small kids, the distance, and riding on the road (bike paths are mainly on the northern end). There is an outdoor shower at the house to rinse off the sand and salt water before showering inside. We had a shower draining issue with the main level shower and maintenance was over very quickly to snake the drain. Kitchen was well stocked. All but one meal was prepared at the home! The screened porch fit everyone comfortably, great for nightly ice cream and stories.

Hello this is the second winter we have rented this property. First time was 6 weeks in 2021 and again now in 2022 for two months . It is a very comfortable home and most everything is provided. The views are lovely. And we appreciate that we can bring our dog. Joe Martin the property manager is outstanding. Very courteous and responsive to our needs and requests. The owners are fortunate to have his as their representative. Joe takes care of everything and everyone. Coastal Getaways and Nancy Buck have a great reputation. The staff is very responsive and helpful. Everything with the gate pass arrangements and lease details are always right on track. Hopefully if all goes well we will be returning Feb/March 2023. Thank you.

Very nice! Great location, loved how everything was decorated, plenty of space in and out, and really appreciated how well stocked the house and especially the garage was (chairs, bikes, beach gear, etc.) Some beach towels would be nice for those traveling by plane. Everything we love at Seabrook and we will be back!
