The property was really lovely and overall well appointed. The finishes were appealing to couples and family alike. The extra “branding” items left as guest gifts were great and the turtle theme was just enough to be charming.

This was our second year renting on Seabrook for the winter. We enjoyed the beach and the wildlife very much. Jim enjoyed using the fitness center at the Lake house and I enjoyed the outdoor pool. We found it helpful this year to read the Tidelines blog and that is a great resource for renters. We played pickleball once as guests of members and I wish the pickleball on the island was more accessible but I know you don’t have control over that. The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the screened porch when the weather was nice. The mattresses and the bedding were great. The bathrooms are beautiful and functional. The kitchen had great storage space for its size and was very well stocked with utensils and cookware. Closet space was very good. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to next year. We appreciate how incredibly responsive Coastal Getaways was with every little issue. Thank you very much.

I recently stayed at Happy Turtle Cottage for a visit to Seabrook. The owners have done a fantastic job to ensure the comfort of their guests. The cottage has been recently updated and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful, the beds and the furniture are all very comfortable. There are ample dishes, cups and glassware available and you will have all of the pots, pans, and bakeware that you could use. The location is also very inviting. Quiet and peaceful, but just a quick car ride, bike ride, or walk to all the amenities of Seabrook. I am looking forward to when I can return.

This condo is definitely a 5 star! The feeling was very welcoming as we entered, and the entire condo was spotless. The kitchen is amazing with all the amenities one could ask for. The condo has beautiful furniture in every room, and very tastefully decorated throughout. Plenty of room to get away if one needs time to themselves. Very nice outdoor deck, located off the screened in porch equipped with a nice size grill. Beautiful scenery as we walked to the pool/clubhouse which is located overlooking the ocean. The shopping plaza, Fresh Fields, located right off the island, is full of unique shops, grocery store, and basically anything else you may need for your vacation, or souveniers. This was definitely an amazing stay, and truly is home away from home.

We recently stayed a long weekend at the Happy Turtle Cottage. We LOVED it. It was our first time on the island. Seabrook Island has all that you could need for a family vacation. We relaxed at the pool and beach for a few days. There are many beach areas so you can definitely find a place and feel like you have the beach to yourself. We biked around the island on the many trails and down to an area where we ate a relaxing lunch by the water. We do not golf but there is a beautiful golf course. As for the Happy Turtle Cottage, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It is located very close to many beach areas. The house is immaculate. Everything is new and very clean. It had all we needed to cook in every night if we wanted to. There is a nice screened-in back porch for us to sit outside and enjoy our coffee in the mornings. The neighborhood is very quiet. We will definitely be back again!!!

Our recent stay at Happy Turtle Cottage was fantastic. The accommodations were perfect, the beds and living areas were very comfortable. I loved the screened porches and the ping pong table was an excellent idea. The kitchen was fully stocked with most everything you might need. The only addition I would consider which I didn’t find was a muffin tin. Muffins are our favorite breakfast while on vacation. The laundry area was super nice, and had we been there longer would have used it more. Overall, our stay was perfect, and we look forward to booking again !!
