We enjoyed Seabrook's beautiful surroundings near the beach where we could bike and walk the roads and beach; Clean and litter-free beaches; Friendliness and helpfulness of folks we met and those who are associated with the Rental agency. 3773 Seabrook Island Road is a home built in the mid-1970's which has undergone some updating and modernization. The home is very well laid out with ample space for three families or 11-12 people. The two living room arrangement provided plenty of space and two dining tables also provide ample seating space. There is a section of the home on the lower level that is ideal for 5 or more children which is semi-isolated from the rest of the house and has a full bathroom. Parents can sleep upstairs in one of two rooms each having a separate bathroom. The home has been used heavily and there are some upkeep issues. The second refrigerator in the unfinished room in the back of the first floor was great to have on a long week with lots of folks. The availability of the garage for bike storage was a major advantage to us and would be for those renting bikes. The Rental Agent provided all of the necessary information well in advance and there was helpful information provided in the home as well.

Our recent trip to Seabrook Island was fantastic! Seeing the dolphins feed in their natural habitat was spectacular. Our family enjoyed all the wildlife. We had deer on the patio, learned to catch crabs, blue by day and sand by night. We were able to have a talk with the turtle patrol early one morning. We learned all about the sea turtles. We felt safe and comfortable on Seabrook Island. The house was perfect for a large group. We had plenty of space and privacy when we needed it. The dining area was large enough for everyone to sit down and eat together. Access to the beach and pool area was only a short walk. The only suggestion I have for the house would be to put more cooking and storage items in the kitchen. Since our return home we cannot stop talking about Seabrook Island! All our friends now want to go. We would definitely recommend Seabrook Island and Coastal Getaways to everyone we know. We hope to return someday.
