We had a wonderful stay! The house and neighborhood were just our speed! We stayed very busy with visiting and shopping at the Freshfield’s Market, riding our bikes to and from the beach club and beyond. We took a haunted tour of Charleston, had fresh seafood at a number of places. Enjoyed some historical tours in Charleston of the Slave Market and the Exchange and city market. Enjoyed a morning of paddle boarding with dolphins followed by a visit to the Angel Oak! A must see tree! Then on to another relaxing day, poolside at the beach club again!! The kids went Jet Skiing at Folly Beach and to bring our stay to a relaxing close we enjoyed a picnic dinner listening to live music at Freshfields Friday evening. We enjoyed all the active lifestyle amenities available, and wish we could have stayed longer!! As for the house: the tall ceilings and doors, colors and finishes and bathrooms for every bedroom were very nice! It was adequately furnished for our stay and purposes! A tradition we have every year is that we all participate in making a huge fruit pizza, the kitchen had all the necessary stuff and the market had all the fresh fruit and berries!! We enjoyed a big family breakfast a few times and enjoyed lounging around between activities! The neighbors were friendly and welcoming! The neighborhood pool was great for a quick cool down and social with a few of the neighbors that shared stories and recommendations of what to do! It was a perfect vacation, a beautiful house, neighborhood and community!! Highly recommended and while we try to go somewhere different each vacation, Seabrook Island may see us again!!
