Chris and I and Fergie our 12 lb dog had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed #1325 with the million dollar view so much so we have already re-booked the unit for February 2015. Pelican Watch is a beautiful location we never missed a daily walk on the beach no the outstanding sunsets. The nearby village of FreshFields has a great variety of shops and we did all our grocery shopping at Harris Teeter with its very friendly and helpful staff and we stopped several times a week at Java Java for a cup of coffee. Nancy thanks so much for all your help in making our 6 week vacation one of the best.

My friend, Dorothy, I, and my dog, Mattie, had a super nice time in 1325 Pelican Watch last week. The overall ambiance is beautiful and pleasant. The other residents seemed to be considerate and cordial. The beach is clean, pristine, and private. The sunsets were spectacular and the weather cooperated as if it were ordered. The minor needs we discovered were quickly and cheerfully taken care of. Thank you for your part in making the visit so enjoyable.

We were looking to kick back and rest and this location coupled with the outstanding end of summer weather provided us with a great week. 1325 Pelican Watch was just as advertised; a well appointed, comfortable villa in a great location. We were looking for a quiet and peaceful week and that's exactly what we experienced. The sunsets were just fantastic and the short walk to the beach is great. The unit was clean and ready when we arrived, as good as any 4 star hotel we've stayed in. Furnishings were in good condition and comfortable, particularly the king size bed in the bedroom. We'll definitely stay here again. You do an excellent job of presenting and servicing this property. Every interaction with you was simple, straight forward and easy to accomplish. The cleaning company you use does and excellent job preparing the property down to providing the 10 day weather forecast, a nice touch. We will use you and recommend you to anyone looking to rent on Seabrook Island.

First, if you're not sold on Seabrook Island, it is a great, quiet island with nice homes and a natural quality to it. It's next door to more pretentious, manicured Kiawah which is good because you get to share in the neighboring shopping/dining options. This means you have the quiet solitude of Bald Head Island with good food. :) It's a family friendly place but the island is very dog-friendly even with a beach where you can let your dog off leash on the north part of the island. This condo overlooks the Edisto River inlet which offers a less windy spot for beachgoers but with still great views. It's nice being on the lower level if you have a dog and/or if you have a lot of luggage/food stuff. The condo is obviously well appointed and perhaps even nicer than it shows in pictures. It exceeded my husband's expectations and he remarked several times how nice it was (sometimes rental beach houses can not be so nice) from the furniture to the curtains to the little details. The couch and chairs are comfy and it's great having a firm King sized bed, a washing machine and two full bathrooms. You need to bring washing detergent if you plan on doing laundry/washing towels. They did have dishwashing detergent and dryer sheets. Since this listing and the rental materials don't list it, I will go into detail on the appointments: the kitchen has all the basics you need- dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls, blender, wine opener, can opener, spatula, colander, kettle, etc. It does NOT have a couple basics (cookie sheet and muffin pan) or gourmet tools like a potato masher, hand whisk or garlic press. Rental places always have crappy knives so I always bring my knives with me so I can't speak to the quality. The pantry had salt, pepper, tea and some other things left behind. They also had boogie boards, three beach chairs that you can wear as backpacks, and beach toys you can use to build a sand castle :) The only thing it didn't have was cruiser bikes, but you can rent them at the island bike shop if you want. We brought road bikes, but next time I might bring my cruiser as well. Did I mention they have dog toys and bowls? So cute!! Wifi was included (info is on the router- ignore the rental info) and cable (though we didn't use it!) The management company was really great, friendly and helpful. They even showed up to fix the garbage disposal without us calling about it. We really enjoyed ourselves here and look forward to coming back soon!
