We loved the location of the home. Close to the lake and lakehouse, easy access to shopping and grocery, access to private pool in addition to larger resort pool if desired. We rented a electric cart for getting to the beach- which was worth it to us in order to have easy access to other amenities-for instance, we enjoy our daily workout at the lakehouse. We enjoyed the morning and evening strolls on the beach, relaxing on the front porch and watching the wildlife, relaxing at the pool and evening cruising on the electric cart around the island. I think we underestimated the distance from house to the beach- it was clearly indicated in description, but not sure many people would realize how helpful and almost necessary an electric cart is Unless u want to pack up car every time and deal with sand and dirt in vehicle, because when using car that much, almost feels not on a vacation- so id say its almost a recommendation and certainly makes it more enjoyable for exploring the island and getting around. Overall, the vacation was awesome and we would stay again and recommend!
