The views from the house make up for any negative you could think of. The furniture and decor is a little dated but you forget all about that when you look out the windows. We loved it!

The location is great. The condo is about a 5 minute walk to the pool and beach. It's a very quiet community. It's a great place to walk/run. The pool is really nice. There is a nice bar/food stand in addition to the restaurant right there. They have a "beach" with lounge chairs and umbrellas. This is on the seawall so you can't reach the ocean from there, but you can definitely hear it and feel the spray. The beach is close. If you are looking for huge waves, Seabook is not for you. There are a multitude of sandbars that prevent big waves and the undertow can be rather strong. There were a ton of families with small children probably because of the lack of big waves. We had young adults with us and they enjoyed the pool, manmade beach and regular beach. From the photos, it looks like you can walk right out of the condo and down to the ocean. This condo is also on the seawall so you need to walk to the boardwalks, but they are very close. The kitchen is well appointed. It was very nice to have the extra fridge in the laundry room. Plenty of room for everyone. The biggest drawback is the primary bedroom is a loft. If you are looking for privacy and quiet, this may not be the best fit. But, we didn't mind and loved it. Seabrook is wonderful.

We had a great time, but there was no beach area in front of the property, and we thought there would have been based on pictures and maps. I think the beach info needs to be updated to the map as seen in the “Seabrook Island Real Estate Guide”, dated April 2024. The beach access info is more accurate in that document.
