I have been to Seabrook many times and have always enjoyed it. I like the house very much. Could use another good size table (pehaps a folding one?) for doing puzzles. Everything was communicated greatly through Coastal Getaways of SC.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay on Seabrook. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. We really liked the sun porch overlooking the golf course and creek. Was a little confused about bike accesiblity, there are bikes at the house but they are locked, one needs to rent. Other than that everything went smoothly. Enjoyed pickle ball and beach walks as well as nightly sunsets.

As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Seabrook. 545 Tarpon Pond Cottage was nice. The furnishings were comfortable. We very much enjoyed the sunroom. The primary bath was nice - having a tub gave us much more room than the small showers that Tarpon Pond usually has. The downsides were that there were insufficient towel bars. The hall bath had one towel bar and a ring by the sink. The primary bath had no towel bars and 3 hooks (there is plenty of room to mount two standard bars). For a property that sleeps 7 people it was totally insufficient for towels - luckily it was only my husband, myself and a couple of friends for a few days. Even several hooks over the primary bedroom, bath and hall bath doors would be an improvement. Also the primary closet was strange. It was a hobbit hole under the stairs. It is about chest high on me (5'6"). Not good for a tall person like my husband. The kitchen was ok. More coffee mugs would be a great improvement along with a few more placemats (there were 3). We do eat in a lot and cook dinners. The pots and pans were fine. For such a small kitchen the storage was good. We look forward to returning to Seabrook. 545 Tarpon Cottage was a comfortable home away from home. The cottage was very clean on our arrival. The beachy decor was appealing and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The view of the golf course as well as wildlife and sun rises from the sun room provided much entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked most of our meals at home and had everything that we needed. Items mentioned as missing in previous reviews have been provided. Muffin pan and a cheese grater were the only items that could still be added. We really enjoyed our stay at Seabrook Island. Daily walks on the beach, bike rides and enjoying views of the golf course and wild life from our cottage made for wonderful weeks during our escape from the winter up north. We frequently walked to Captain Sams inlet on the beach and were able to see the dolphins strand feeding several times. What an amazing sight! I enjoyed having a good selection of books available from the library at the lake house. The island is so beautiful, clean and safe. Everything you could want is close by at Fresh Fields. I can’t wait to return. The Coastal Getaways staff were very responsive and accommodating when finding and booking the cottage. They remained responsive during our stay to assist with any needs we had.
