We have enjoyed coming to vacation on Seabrook Island for about 25 years. Most of the time we have stayed close to the pool, ocean, and golf courses. The past two years we have stayed mid-island and have loved the peaceful neighborhood feel of this area. Our stay at 2503 Chateau by the Green was relaxing and comfortable. We loved the recent updates in the chateau. The living area was very comfortable and the kitchen was lighter and brighter. Since we dined in most of the evenings, it was great to have a well-equipped kitchen. The owners put much thought into providing everything one needs to prepare a meal. The kitchen also had great storage space for our food items. The bathroom renovations were fantastic, giving those rooms a very crisp and clean updated look. Besides playing a great deal of golf, we enjoyed so many wonderful walks on the island, taking a different direction each time from our front door and enjoying the incredible scenery and wildlife. We regularly enjoyed watching golfers finish the 5th hole on Crooked Oaks from the deck or screened porch. We greatly appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the staffs at both The Seabrook Island Club and Coastal Getaways. Both staffs were welcoming and available to provide any assistance that was needed. We are already looking forward to a return visit to the island next year.
