We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Watch the other week. The weather was perfect for early spring, and we had a very restful time. We have visited Seabrook Island almost annually for the past 11 years and stayed at several places - some near the marshes and some near the ocean. Our villa at Pelican Watch was one of the nicest. It was very clean and comfortable. It smelled like it had been aired out and lived in. The villa was stocked with all of the items that we needed for the week. We especially enjoyed having morning coffee on the deck and watching the sun set in the evening. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful place for our vacation. We will definitely keep Pelican Watch in mind when we plan to return to Seabrook.

We enjoyed getting away from all of the snow, ice, and cold of the north. The view and sunsets were glorious. Plus we just like and enjoy the area. This was our sixth visit.

What did you enjoy most about your Seabrook vacation? Family time together. Water front property. Easy access to coastal outdoor adventure. Kayaking the creeks, and around Deveaux Bank. Sam’s Creek and Crab Dock. Biking Seabrook and Kiawah. Swimming in the N. Edisto River. Swimming across Kiawah River at low tide between Kiawah and Seabrook. Pet off-leash areas. Viewing wildlife. Lots of deer, birds pelicans, eagles, others. May have seen a couple Loggerheads pop up. Turtle Patrol Inventory- over 90 live turtles. Dolphin Stranding. Met many other visitors and residents enjoying the special place that is Seabrook and South Carolina Coast. We bought seafood and ate-in to be sure to see the sunsets! Sunrises at Capt’n Sam’s inlet - rain or shine! Daughter Anna read. Daughter Sarah met all the other pets and ran almost every day. Wife Jane relaxed, rode her bike. Spent quality time with daughters. Please tell us your impressions of the property you stayed in? Condition good. Liked tile floors. Furnishings good, comfortable. Clean= good Features=good Location=very good, BEST SUNSETS! WIFI and TV worked well. Nice selection of “house books”. Could have few family board games, cards. We brought our “pass the pigs”. Was there any information that we did not relay that would have helped knowing in advance? Communication, and repetition of key items before and just before and at check-out was helpful.

We totally enjoyed our stay on Seabrook, from the dolphin, deer, shrimp boats (that looked alien lit up at night) to the dog beach. Every thing we could have asked for was provided in the unit and we were very impressed. I personally loved the red chair.

We were so tired when we arrived at 1325 Pelican Watch this year, but it felt so good to fall into the wonderful king-sized bed and let our heads sink into the fluffy pillows for a good nights rest. We love this unit and have been back many times. The side window not only allows additional light into the living room, but you get to appreciate so much more of the waterway, of the dolphins and birds, and the beach walkers. You will find all that you need for your vacation there at the unit, since the owners have fully furnished and outfitted the rooms. They have also left many books on the area for your reading pleasure—there is also a good library for general reading. The village that supports the island also has anything you need for your shopping and dining pleasure, including a grocery store that has new owners and expanded goods. It’s a unique place and you will love it!
