We keep returning to the island, so something seems to be drawing us back year after year. We love the location of the villa—right on the water so you can watch the beautiful sunsets (how can that be on the east coast?); the deer, usually in the early morning; the pelicans diving any time of day; and an assortment of watercraft on the river in front of the villa, from sailboats to Coast Guard craft. It’s amazing and peaceful and we look forward to being there each March. The villa is well stocked with plenty of dishes, The king size bed is very comfortable and the furniture itself is very nice. The bathrooms are very nice, especially the bath in the master bedroom, which was remodeled last year. Also, last year, a new sliding glass door was installed, which was needed and a wonderful improvement.
Since the weather was so pleasant this March, we got to enjoy the deck so many late afternoons and evenings. The village that services both Seabrook and Kiawah Island is small but so unique, with complete services, including a doctor’s office. There is something for everyone, and then some. Since the grocery store, Harris Teeters, has been improved there is no need to leave the island for food and supplies. Can’t wait until next year!
