Absolutely Fantastic ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know when you go to a nice beach and look around at the houses, and you think to yourself "I'd love to stay in THAT one!"? This is that house. Spacious, very clean, all the amenities needed for a great stay. This is by far the best stocked house of any that we have rented anywhere. All the kitchen utensils necessary for any kind of prep, spare pillows and blankets, flashlights, lighters for candles, great grill on the porch. The walk to the beach is about 150 yards on a wooden boardwalk. There is also a nature trail on the way. The beach is very clean, very wide at low tide. The location of the home is fantastic. We used rental bikes that were already at the house (get the codes from the rental facility, SI bikes) to go everywhere on the island. The main shopping area has a full size grocery store with very reasonable prices. There are also two coffee places, a few restaurants, some local apparel stores, a book store, banks and post office type place. Everything you need, a leisurely 20 minute bike ride away. The golf courses are the other direction, about 10 minutes away. The agents for the property were very prompt in their responses to all of our questions before our visit and answered the phone immediately once we got there when we couldn't find the lock box with the key. (It was there, just couldn't find it with a cranky toddler in tow) We usually go to Florida (Sanibel Island) in the spring. We tried Seabrook because my wife is pregnant and we didn't want to worry about zika this year. Our experience was so favorable, we're thinking of making this area (and this house) our yearly vacation instead. Highly recommend!

We loved everything! The weather was great, the location of the house was ideal for our family, the island has all the amenities one could wish for when on vacation. We loved that you can comfortably bike everywhere. The traffic was never a worry while on the bikes with a toddler. The speed limit is strictly observed and the drivers were very considerate in sharing the road. It was a treat to be able to bike to the shopping area for groceries, shopping, coffee and lunch. The beach is very clean, wide and incredibly beautiful. It was never crowded. We usually go to Sanibel Island for our winter vacation, but this year my wife is pregnant and looked for a different getaway due to the zika threat. Seabrook Island far exceeded our expectations and our experience with renting a vacation house was incredibly smooth and pleasant. We will be seriously considering regular vacations here in the future.Great house in all respects! The location was perfect for our family. A short walk to the beach, about a 20 minute bike ride to the shopping area and about 10 minutes to the golf courses. The house was the best equipped house we have ever stayed in for a vacation. Very well stocked kitchen with much higherquality than usual appliances and utensils. We cooked almost every meal at home and found everything we needed for preparing the food. The Weber grill worked perfectly as well. The house has two patio areas plus a balcony for the grill. One of the patio areas is covered and was perfect to sit out there enjoying a rain storm while the open patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and throughout the sunny days. The house itself is impressive when you walk in, with two story ceiling in the main area. It gives a wonderful sense of space and it doesn't feel dark or cluttered after a day spent outside. There was ample room for everyone and the cleanliness of the house upon arrival was impeccable.

The location of the property was fantastic for us considering we wanted to be able to walk the dog and kids to the beach. It was great to also have the Beach Club membership- we used the pools and restaurants a lot!! We biked the entire week to and from the Beach club. There are 2 child(very small) 2- wheeler bikes as well. There are 2 adult bikes M/F that are locked but can be rented via Coastal adventures. One is free per day with the house rental. You also get a helmet and lock. I would recommend getting your amenity card before checking in. That way you can immediately start using the beach club restaurants and pool. My only suggestion for anyone coming in would be to bring or rent a cart of some sort for getting things back and forth to the beach. (It's a long Boardwalk)!! There were 3/4 beach chairs and a few boogie boards that were at the house. The house was very well stocked with starter items so you won't need to run to the grocery store right away for paper goods. I would highly recommend staying away from the Harris Teeter on Saturday if at all possible. We used and liked the Bunn coffee maker, but I would suggest googling the directions if you are not familiar with using this coffee maker. The house has a great supply of bath towels too!! All in all a great week- comfortable house!! Will be even nicer once they update the kitchen and bathrooms!! - Oh- and a guest book!! Wanted to tell the owners how much we enjoyed their home. Just wanted to say thank you for all your help with our first vacation on Seabrook. Being that you were so helpful not only with helping us find the right spot for our family but also answering all our questions. You really went above and beyond to help out!!
