We loved the laid back easiness of the island. The house was one of the most stocked and furnished houses I have ever been it. It has everything you needed. I would recommend a nice pillow top mattress pad on all the beds. They are a bit hard.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was a very nice getaway. There was a pillow in a chair at the cottage that read "what happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's" and that's how it felt ... like we were at a grandmother's place, filled with all the good things.

Hi Coastal Getaways, We enjoyed our stay at 528 Tarpon Pond Cottage, 8/7-8/14 2022. The house was just as expected from your website. It was well stocked with everything we could have needed. We really appreciated the ‘little extras’ that were included, like basket of beach towels, Saran Wrap, foil, coffee, filters, etc. We didn’t use all of these, but it was so welcoming to see those little touches/items that you don’t always see included in rentals. We also appreciated the outdoor items - bikes, beach chairs, etc. The home is cozy, comfortable and nestled in its South Carolina surroundings beautifully. Our only challenge was understanding where everything was at on the provided map. The named areas of the Amenities were on the map, however what the amenity was, was not. For example - Lakehouse was listed, but “pool”, gym, indoor lap pool, restaurant was not identified on the map. It was the middle of the week before we had figured out what we could have known instantly if the map had identified these items better. The interactive phone map was not user friendly and we found it more frustrating than helpful. We enjoyed the island, as well as, many activities off the island. We would recommend this vacation home and the island/area. We were very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Coastal Getaways and would definitely book a vacation rental with your company again. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality,

The pictures of the home are pretty accurate with the exception of the living room. The owners have recently updated the furniture to a sectional sofa which was nice for our group. We enjoyed cooking and our favorite was eating outside in screened in porch for our meals.

We had a lot of fun staying at your place. The place was clean and it had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Kids loved the loft area. Kitchen is updated. Plenty of seating for everyone. Screen porch is very nice to have. Location is good. It’s close to the beach by car or riding bikes. There was an outdoor gas grill but the tank was completely empty so we didn’t use it (good thing I checked before we got groceries). We had a great time overall and thanks for sharing your place. Would love to go back again when it’s a little warmer.
