The house was very clean and was a great layout for a large group. We chose to rent the sea kayak, which was a lot of fun in the ocean and the marsh (via the local marina). The kitchen was missing a couple little basic tools (can opener and non-liquid measuring cups), however overall the house was well stocked and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our family's second stay at this glorious beach house! The location, amenities, and cleanliness are outstanding and unmatched in beach rentals! We have vacationed in the Garden City area for years and this beach house is hands-down the best! The beautiful bedrooms and accompanying bathrooms, as well as the spacious family room/kitchen area, were the perfect combination for a relaxing family beach vacation. Plus, the second floor pool outside the family room area was absolutely amazing! A huge thank you to Dawn (who is awesome to work with) for our wonderful family vacation!!

The house is definitely beachfront which is what we wanted. The layout was ideal for our family. Good restaurants close by. The only negative-which is out of the owner's control is the property next door. It appears in need of serious cosmetic repair and is used as a public access since it looks abandoned. Garden City should do something about it! The Atlantic Gateway is too nice to be beside of it!!!

Loved this house, right on the beach & walking distance to the pier. short drive to lots of restaurants. already planning a trip for next year!

I have nothing but the highest praises for this spectacularly beautiful ocean front beach home. My entire family came and there was room for everyone. The house was decorated like a luxury home would be and not the sometimes tacky beach theme. Our calves hurt the first few days but we were all pro's at racing up and down the stairs when necessary. There wasn't a single thing that we lacked for on this vacation. We rented some of the items from the owners and everything was delivered before our arrival. We had one umbrella that blew over and broke and the owners came to replace it within an hour. The ice maker in the bar area was a blessing for extra ice to take to the beach. My family enjoyed this home so much and even the pool even though it wasn't heated. Our stay was from May 13th - May 24th. It was the perfect time of year to enjoy days that were warm but not too hot and a light jacket at night for walking on the beach. The only thing that this house could use would be an additional refrigerator. Most rentals would not have that so it says a lot for this beautiful home. Also everyone complimented on how comfortable the beds were and the furniture. I don't know if I have ever had a more relaxing vacation!!!! Thank you so much Dawn!!
