The Big Chill is a beautiful house sitting on a great location. Recently stayed for a week with our family of 16. We had more then enough room. The fact there is a bathroom for each bedroom was great. We have stayed in homes with plenty of bedrooms but lacking in bathrooms and this made the stay much more enjoyable when getting ready to go out or having each family's privacy. We were lucky enough to be there the week of the eclipse and watching it on the beautiful beach is something I will not forget. Garden City is a great town and SeaStar Realty was great to work with. We had a few questions about the pool lights and they had someone down quickly! Looking to book again for next year!

All of our family,kids, grand-kids had a great week of fun, food and relaxation at the Big Chill. The location on the beach with the new pool made for lots of fun activities with easy access for all. The overall condition and cleanliness of the house was a 4.7 out of 5 in our opinion. If I was the owner a couple of issues I would address would be to add ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. While the A/C works great we did purchase several cheap floor fans to circulate air. I feel sure that adding the ceiling fans would not be expensive and save on energy cost over the long summer. One of the shower doors in an up stairs master would not stay on the track as it looked like one of the plastic guides was broken. This should be a quick fix. A green end table in the family room area needs repair as the top is very loose and can easily tip to the side. We moved it out of the way to avoid issues. Again these are only minor issues and should be a quick fix or addition in the case of the ceiling fans. Sea Star did a great job in communicating with us on a regular basis and having the beds made and towels hung was AAA++. Definitely made my wife happy as she did not have to make beds. The layout of the house was perfect with bedrooms on both levels as my 87 year old mom was able to spend time with the family without going up and down stairs to eat and sleep. She had a great vacation. We definitely would rent again next year if available and recommend to anyone with a large family.

We were extremely pleased with the location of the house. It was far enough from the Arcade/Pavilion that the beach was not overcrowded, but close enough to walk down when we wanted. We had 5 families, with a blend of adults and children and the layout of rooms was perfect. Best features were the 2 separate dining locations, the condition of the home, the fantastic porch and pool, and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

So relaxing, quiet and right on the beach. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. House has everything you need for a perfect time!Only challenge is the fridge! The shelves did not want to stay in but that is all we could possibly complain about!

Christmas/New Years family reunion was wonderful in the Big Chill! Renovations underway with new carpet, updated kitchen. The many bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated us well. Weather mostly cooperative. Lots of long walks along the beach, dolphin sightings, and interesting shorebirds. Being right on the beach was key! Thanks for a lovely week!

The pictures didn't do the house justice, it was even better when we saw it in person! We had 8 kids 6 years old and younger in the house and there was plenty of space for them to breakoff and play, as well as the easy access to the beach. There was plenty of sand to play and the water was perfect, not too rough for the little ones. Great bedroom layout around the house and the kitchen was plenty big enough to cook meals for 14. There were even enough seats for everyone to eat at the same time. We'd come back again in a heartbeat.
