Love this home in Surfside! Highlights? Super clean, well equipped kitchen, heated pool, outdoor hangout spaces, location to beach and restaurants. This is a great home for any sized group with the ability to park your car and leave it for the week, keeping it the schedule flexible and casual. Perfect for the beach, especially for groups where people want to hang together but not tied together to the same schedule. Trying to think what could be better… but I don’t know what that would be?!

It may be obvious since we have stayed at this wonderful home multiple times but we love this place! We have a large, extended family so having 5 bedroom, all with en suite bathrooms, is convenient and versatile for the family members with specific needs. Since we all cook, having a huge kitchen allows for great collaborative meals with many “chefs” pitching in! The heated pool and attached patio area was great for swimmers and those wishing to enjoy the outdoors. Probably our favorite feature is how close the beach is. We enjoy the beautiful beach every day! At the end of the day (or sometimes in the middle!), we know it is just a short walk to numerous restaurants and pubs. And the newly finished Surfside Beach pier is fantastic! We are planning to come back to Sandy Side Up again in the near future.

Our stay at Sandy Side Up was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we stepped foot into this beautiful retreat, we were won over by its charm and relaxed seaside charm. Sandy Side Up offered a perfect blend of luxury and comfort.The interior was tastefully decorated,- very cozy and inviting. The spacious living areas provided ample room for relaxation. The separate game table was great, and we put the puzzles and games from the game closet to good use! The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. It literally had everything except coozies. In my opinion, the mark of a well-stocked vacation house is the quality of their knife set! Haha - no flimsy knives here! The many balconies meant everyone always had a quiet place to go -- to read a book, hang out with a drink and your spouse -- even while the other half of the house was hanging out in the pool. The pool heater was awesome. It was 70 out, which seems nice, but with the pool heater the pool could be used by all of us, not only the thick-skinned kids! Outside, the private deck and covered patio had a cushy sectional. We even played cards there so we could keep an eye on the kids. My favorite part was taking a coffee down to the beach each morning - this is a quiet part of Surfside Beach -- not too many people. There were times we felt we had the beach almost to ourselves off season. Savoring morning coffee as the sun rose over the water - heaven. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants - we walked to Pizza Hyena, Gracious Pig and the Mexican restaurant- our favorite - Chimichanga Mama Llama - or something like that! Our stay was nothing short of perfect.

Super clean house with very comfortable beds and so many kitchen dishes, utensils, glasses etc. Well set up for each kid to have their own bed and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Balconies on both sides of the house were relaxing to hang out with a glass of wine. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. Loved having our own pool. Would definitely stay again.
