We've stayed in this building before but not in several years and not in this particular unit. First thing I noticed was the new outside stairs and new oceanfront balconies--excellent! The one key was kept in a lockbox outside the door--wish there had been more than one or that it was a keypad lock, cause managing the key and cover of the lockbox was a bit cumbersome when hands are full of beach gear. The building is small but with a nice pool, excellent views, and great location. A couple of units are occupied year-round by residents, so there are few renters; those we met were very nice. We liked storing our chairs under the building and are always impressed they're left alone. The condo itself was very clean and well-appointed, especially in the kitchen, with plenty of storage space. TV's were in good condition, but without my husband there, I probably couldn't have figured them out. Two wishes: that the bedrooms had ceiling fans (stuffy) and that the ice maker didn't make loud popping sounds every couple of hours. However, I was grateful for an ice maker at all, so no worries. Check in and check out process was easy and price was reasonable. Already wishing to return!

Booked last minute getaway for some fresh salt air and this did not disappoint!! The place was clean and fresh with a nice bag of goodies awaiting us on the counter. While the furnishings were a little tired they were comfortable and clean. The directions for entry could have been a bit more clear. They listed an "entry code" for the front door - took us a bit to figure out that the key pad for the code was actually a lock box with a key inside. Once we figured that out we were inside enjoying the beautiful view and fresh salt air.

We had a great week in South Shores 1, Unit 5. The condo was very clean and comfortable. My son so enjoyed having the pool mainly to himself. We definitely look forward to staying again in the future. (The only things that would be appreciated is a more comfortable mattress in Master Bedroom & an Elevator, which looks to be currently under construction, even though there was no work done the week we were there.)

Like last year, we loved our vacation at South Shore I Unit 5. Though stormy some of the time, the weather was mostly great. Personally, walking out the door and onto the beach is the stand out attraction for me. But I do enjoy being able to take a calm swim in the pool. However, our pool was closed for the last two days of vacation. I assume the pool chemicals became unbalanced, unfortunate but understandable. As for the room, it was generally positive but there are a few maintenance issues. The main balcony door lock is broken and both balcony doors are very difficult to open and close. Several electrical wall outlets need to be replaced, particularly those on the TV wall. Both bathrooms were experiencing lighting issues. The limited parking during the planned elevator demolition was particularly troublesome, especially since we were not informed ahead of time and there was no alternate parking. The situation was made worse when a workman, who was apparently working on an upstairs unit, took up one of the few parking spaces. Overall, great vacation, but the issues above need to be addressed. We're already looking forward to next year.

Two bedroom two baths, perfect for our family of four. Full kitchen with washer dryer very accommodating. The beach view was beautiful, even from the kitchen. The master bedroom could use some room-darkening curtains though (it was perfectly light in there by 6 am). Pool was nice and clean, maybe an outdoor light would be helpful? The shower and hose to rinse sand was good and beach access couldn't have been easier!
