We had bears every day. One day, a young bear climbed the tree behind the cabin up into the limbs and proceeded to eat acorns. It was pretty amazing.

It was a beautiful place - the only issue was the Muskie moldy smell. We had good weather and it was very comfortable staying there.

Stay was very quiet. Caretaker next door(Frank) very accommodating. Enjoyed the daily visits from Jake the Black Bear. Minor Issues with the the cabin were covered with Colonial Properties office when we checked out.

One of the cleanest, if not the cleanest, places ever stayed. Off the beaten path but still close enough to get everywhere quickly and easily, avoiding traffic. Great value especially with the free tickets. No issues at all!!!

The cabin was lovely and we truly enjoyed ourselves in the mountains. My only comment is that it was pretty dark inside--just a few lamps, and two of them had burned out bulbs. Otherwise, though, it was glorious.
