We had a great stay at the property and it had everything we needed. We loved the gardens, outdoor shower, beautiful antique pieces and all amenities. We cooked seafood while dancing and singing to the old school radio with all the tools provided and my 4 year old loved the hammock and outdoor shower. From New England Vacation Rentals ~ Thanks for such a lovely review of Rosa Rugosa! The owner is very proud of the gardens and will be so pleased to see that you appreciated them! We are renting 30 Chatham Crest Drive, Chatham, MA. Quite frankly, my wife and I were thrilled by the location, the exterior, the interior, the central air, the color combinations and the appointments we found on our arrival. It is a terrific house. We have had long associations with Chatham many years ago, before we were married. With this marvelous house as a base in such a beautiful locale, much of our expected stress has evaporated. Our very best to you, yours and your staff! We wish you continued success in your endeavors.

We loved the location and the property. Walking to the beach and showering our grandsons in the outside shower after the beach was ideal. Also walking to the Sundae School ice cream parlor was high on the list of after dinner activities.

Lovely, well maintained property that doesn’t require guests to cross the bridge (unless you want to), yet has SPECTACULAR views from a bluff and direct access to a large and very private beach. Perfect home for a large family with kids, or a few couples getting away. The covered porch was great for relaxation, meals and cocktails, and has 180 degree views of Cape Cod Bay. The neighborhood has easy access to the bridge as well as Plymouth for dinners and activities without island congestion. If you enjoy cycling, the area is very conducive to local or longer rides and Starbucks runs are only 5 minutes away. On a final note, the owners made sure everything was in great shape and provided beach chairs, umbrellas and all the cooking amenities one could want; highly recommended.

Perfect house for my family of five. Clean, spacious, and close to the beach make this house a great fit for us. The washer/dryer, 1 1/2 baths plus the outdoor shower gave us the flexibility we needed during our time there. From New England Vacation Rentals- Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Although it's necessary to drive to the ocean, you can walk to a lovely private beach on the lake. For our extended family vacation, this house was perfect! It provided plenty of space so anyone could have private time when needed, but there were plenty of areas that could accommodate our large group. The level yard is great for children and the large deck is fabulous! We had a wonderful time! From New England Vacation Rentals- Thank you for this wonderful review. You cannot beat the location of this house! Walkable to everything from beaches, shopping, golf and restaurants. House is so well done and incredibly clean for a rental. This home in Centerville is perfection. Clean, quiet, warm, inviting, and fun. As soon as one drives up, the attention to detail, upkeep, and overall curb-appeal is appreciable. Inside doesn’t disappoint. High-end appliances and ample space make for a highly comfortable, 5-star experience. The back of the house is also terrific-large, clean pool with separate hot-tub with the crown-jewel being the dock on the Centerville River. We enjoyed easy access with kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. This is an excellent property, strategically located and private all at the same time. Highly recommend, and would stay again!

My wife and I enjoyed a week with our friends here last summer. We have vacationed in Chatham over the course of many years, and this was, by far, the most beautiful home of all. The house is tucked behind a terraced garden of flowerbeds facing the front door. It has 4 bedrooms (2 with king size beds), with extraordinary privacy, inside and outside the home. The kitchen has updated appliances, a large island counter and a cozy table area. The spacious sunroom and outdoor deck with a gas grill overlook a wooded forest were perfect for entertaining. The finished lower level has a big screen TV room a separate game room and it’s own private deck. Unfortunately I did have to do some work while there and I found there were several quiet desks to chose from. The great Wi-Fi and internet throughout the house made work go quickly. It is only 1 ½ miles to downtown Chatham, close to all beaches and within a short stroll of an idyllic lake, perfect for swimming and there is an area to park so we were able to bring our car down with our kayaks to get out on the water. This home was very spacious for 3 families. There are toys, chairs and boogie boards for the beach. Games for outside the home and inside. The back yard is very private. The owners have thought of everything. Our grandchildren 4, 6 and 13 loved the home. We all enjoyed the outside shower. The home is modern and the kitchen has everything you need. We bought a week parking pass for the local beaches. Our car carried all the beach gear, the rest walked. Beaches are not far. Definitely would love to return in the future. This cute home was located within walking distance of the beach and an easy bike ride to historic main street. The location was great. Super clean and well maintained property. The back yard was huge and fenced in so we had lots of privacy. We were very comfortable here and everything worked (appliances, etc). We would stay here again. We had a great stay at 58 Longs Lane - Sea Glass! The home was very clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen, sun room, and deck were all beautiful. The yard had plenty of room for our children to play in and was very well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone was friendly. The nearby area also had surprisingly little traffic for a busy week in August and many good restaurants. The only disappointment was that the beach within a short walking distance was rather small and rocky. But that is mostly to be expected for the cape, and there were several extremely nice beaches (Red River, Ridgevale) that were only a few minutes drive away. The house is on Main St. and walkable to all the shops, restaurants and parks along the whole stretch. And in addition it was walkable and bikeable to an awesome uncrowded beach. The best of all worlds!

Everything worked great, had the beach/pond access right at the rental but also could explore all Cape Cod has to offer! During the COVID resurgence, it was nice to have our rental to have meals and not worry about waiting and poor service. It was great to have the Linen drop make up the beds for arrival and also used the Concierge service to have the groceries stocked! ONLY one complaint, I am a VERY clean person, I would have appreciated more detail given to things like cabinet doors and handles, as well as the silverware trays, yucky to find crumbs in the trays, I feel like in between rentals, at least the silverware trays/drawers should be washed and reput away. We are happy to hear you took advantage of the extra services offered by Linen drops and our concierge service. We agree the home is perfectly placed to enjoy the pond yet close enough to explore. Mermaids Rest is a gem on Lake Wequaquet. The quiet street afforded us lovely morning walks and easy access to shopping. We loved hanging out in the living room - furnished with comfortable and attractive furniture. The dining room table was wonderful for meals with friends - it overlooks the lake. The art in the living room is quite lovely. We enjoyed using the kitchen and eat in kitchen - a highly convenient breakfast spot. The house was spotless clean inside when arrived. The beds were comfortable and the blankets and pillows were comfy. The beach is not Sandy - but that’s Lake Wequaquet. We appreciated the quaint walk down the stairs to the lake. There is plenty of parking. We did have to clean the raft as it is visited by the local geese. That was tough. On the other hand, we enjoyed the pedal boat which we borrowed from a neighbor.ar From New England Vacation Rentals- Thank you so much for this lovely review of Mermaids rest. We use the location as our hub for activities Our stay was fabulous as usual. We are however concerned that price escalation may prevent our return so we will only consider returning at the same rate. From New England Vacation Rentals- Thank you for taking the time review your stay. We are happy to hear you had a fabulous stay utilizing the home as your "hub" The rates for all vacation rentals have gone up across the Cape. In particular this home had some big improvements like mini split A/C and a renovated kitchen and the increase in the rate reflected this. We are always happy to ask for a repeat guest rate when you are ready to book for next summer.

This cottage is so cute, we enjoyed so much our stay in this place. There is everything you need! At night by the fireplace it is so cozy! I would definitely come again for some vacation in the Cape!
