My family and I (including little dog) had the most wonderful week at this house. The house is in a great location and had everything we needed to make the most of a moderately warm fall week. We have been a part of the NEVR family for many years. We were working with a large real estate company previously to help us rent our home in Brewster, Cape Cod. The results with the large real estate company were lackluster at best. When we moved to NEVR, everything changed. Not only did they book almost all summer every summer we've worked with them but they also gave professional guidance on how to make our home as attractive as possible. A Great Way to Start the Summer! Enjoyed our June 2022 week at 401 Old Wharf Road, Unit B201, Dennis Port - Cape Cod, MA!!! The unit and its location are excellent for several reasons` Firstly, the owner of the unit shows great care and excellent tastes in furnishings and small amenities that help to make occupant stays comfortable and worry-free. Secondly, the views of Nantucket Sound are spectacular and the proximity to a private beach strip is big plus. Thirdly, the unit's location in Dennis Port is close to great restaurants and venues of interest that allow for enhanced vacation eating and activity efficiency. Also, as "parents" of a five-year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, we appreciated the pet acceptance, the good pet policies and the availability of the elevator to make the up and down trips to the unit. Finally, the Staff of New England Vacation Rentals (NEVR) are always so helpful in answering our questions, handling registration details and assisting our securing of linen and other services to smooth the preparation of the unit for our stay. We rented this unit in 2021, again in June of 2022 and are eagerly looking forward to being back again, time and schedules permitting. This place is perfect for young couples and for those young at heart and we highly recommend both this unit and doing your bookings via NEVR.

We have nothing but great experiences working with Laurie and Dawn at NEVR! From the first day we met with them to tour our home they were very informative and knowledgeable about what would make our home most desirable to renters. They helped us every step of the way as we made wonderful changes and improvements. They made it very easy for us to get our house fully rented for the summer weeks and were always there to assist if a guest or the house needed anything done during that time. They go out of their way to respond to questions or give us recommendations as soon as we reach out. We are very grateful for them and the services that NEVR provides!

We had a wonderful time staying at this little property! We arrived in the dark so the driveway was a little bit challenging in a low sportscar but we found it very easily. It is secluded and very peaceful, exactly what we were looking for to chill for a weekend. The property was just modern enough, extremely clean and easy to navigate, bed was very comfy. We spent a long time in the water and visited some restaurants in the area, but definitely had enough to do to pass the time for three days at the camp. Our dog had a wonderful time as well on walks around the pond, swimming, and taking in the wildlife (which was everywhere). Loved the outdoor shower!!

We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again. The house was clean and had everything necessary for cooking. Beds were comfortable. We felt linens should have been provided at no cost but other than that the house was perfect for our needs. Our little dog absolutely loved the fenced in back yard and we enjoyed the fire pit. There were beach chairs, etc in the garage. Location is great for day trips to other areas because it is mid-Cape. The house is located on a quiet street. We definitely recommend this house.

We absolutely LOVE this house & location. It is always a joy to return, year after year. It was well maintained & we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. Thank you so much one & all. The property was very comfortable with a beautiful view of Aunt Edies Pond. We are considering a return visit during the summer. There was no road noise, just emergency vehicle sirens.

Great house. Clean, well stocked and centrally located to wherever you want to go to in the cape. Only drawback is that there isn’t at least a half bath on the ground floor. Large house in Harwich, great for extended family. Very close to grocery store, gas station, Chinese food, Dunkin Doughnuts. Easy to reach bay beaches or Nauset plus fresh water too. Perfect getaway and great location for a couple looking for a week away! Walking distance to the beach and ice cream. Highly recommend renting bikes for further exploration of the area! Lovely site, comfortable home. Basement ping pong and children’s blocks very helpful during wet days. Convenient access to bike trails and easy walk to beach for our 5 year old. Visitors should be aware that the kitchen is well stocked with equipment but has no staples such as salt and pepper. Also be aware that only single ply toilet paper can be used with the septic system.

Entering the home we found it to be absolutely immaculate in all rooms. Living spaces were spacious The negatives were There was no place for food storage. Only given 1 bag for trash. Remote instructions while simplistic were difficult when actually using remote in living room. Extremely frustrating every time we wanted to watch tv

We stayed in B201 for the week before Labor day as well as the week after labor day - two week vacation. First and foremost a shout out to NEVR folk. They were very helpful, timely on the many questions we had and very professional in all activities. B201 was clean, cheerful and in a wonderful location. We were an elevator ride away from immediate beach access and we had spectacular views from the balcony facing the ocean. We very much enjoyed heading down to the beach for a swim in the ocean, catching up on our magazines and books and enjoyed the natural food chain of the bird life in the immediate area. Plovers, Pipers, Cormorants, Gulls, ducks and even an osprey all enjoying the plentiful feeding grounds off the cape shore. Great restaurants in the area as well; The ocean house and it's wonderful Cioppino, the giant pretzels and delicious fried foods at Clancy's, the smoked meats at Cleat and Chain, the very fresh oysters at the Oyster Company and the great pizza at Family Royal. I would recommend all. There were a couple nearby breakfast places that I would not recommend so be careful on that front. We were a short drive to the CCRT parking and entrance which provided a great venue for the daily bike ride, to the great quahog beds of Orleans where we collected many, many pounds of delicious quahogs (Please be sure to get a license) and a short drive to the National Seashore at Marconi beach which was beautiful. SO, after two weeks I was actually sorry to see it come to an end which is a first for me as I've always been excited to get home after a single week vacation. I'm already looking to next year! This beautiful cottage THAT IS DOG FRIENDLY, is the best cottage we have stayed in !! It's warm, clean, plenty of room for your pet, laundry, AC, and next to a beautiful pond, And many beaches ! We even found a beach close by that let's your bring your dog from 6am to 9am so they too can enjoy the ocean and meeting new friends as well! This charming cottage is a perfect, SAFE, Quiet location with a HUGE fenced in back yard, beautiful deck along with a firepit ! We can not wait for our next stay here Highly recommend Turtle Cove !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heron's Nest! The pictures of the home are great but in person it looked even better. The house is conveniently located, spacious, comfortable and great for kids. There were board games and toys so there was always something for the kids to occupy themselves with. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, etc. The walk to the beach took about 10 to 15 minutes - very manageable. There were plenty of beach chairs and a wagon and beach cart, which made our walk much easier. The neighborhood was very pretty and quiet.
