We could not have been happier with this house. I was skeptical of the size based on square footage and that we'd have 6 adults and 2 children, but it was perfect. The bedrooms are all decent sized, and the main living room is great. The kitchen is on the smaller side and could use a little updating, but honestly who likes to cook on vacation. We used the grill mostly on the fantastic deck. The huge yard and swingset were perfect for our rambunctious 2.5 year old and gave us a nice reprieve from the beach. I wish we had known how well stocked the shed was with beach chairs and other beach stuff, games, and coolers so we could have saved some space in the cars. The house overall was pretty well stocked, could have used a few more coffee mugs, but had everything we needed. It is so close to the beach which was also great with an infant so I could run back and forth for whatever I forgot. It is close to downtown and a grocery store as well. The only disappointing thing was check-in/out times because we felt like we lost both Saturday's, and 9am checkout with kids is not an easy task. Looking forward to renting here in the future!

We had a really enjoyable week at Mermaid's Rest. The house was very clean and welcoming upon arrival and is in a great location on the Cape in close proximity to Hyannis, Osterville and local area beaches. Being right on Wequaquet Lake was fantastic with use of the house's kayaks , canoe and paddleboat and a swim float. Our only wish is that the lakefront area was more usable as it's overgrown and didn't have a dock.

Fantastic time at this large, renovated and well appointed house right. in downtown. Plenty of private backyard space for grilling and eating and great fire pit too. Would definitely come back.

Extremely well-equipped cottage. Very comfortable bed, furnishings and plenty of space. Short walk to neighborhood dock for lovely sunsets. Beaches and restaurants a short drive away, but kitchen has everything needed to cook in if desired. Wish we could stay longer!

This house was so amazing! Well equipped kitchen and the house was very clean. Beautiful furnishings and so many great things to do at the house, such as grilling, Great outside deck, camp fire set-up, kayaks, bikes, and games. Family of 6, my girls each brought their friend and they had a blast. Loved being near the lake too! We’ve not stayed in Harwich before, usually Dennis, Bourne or Truro. Like Dennis, there is much to do in this town. Check out the lavender farm! Would definitely consider renting here again!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. The lake is so clean and the water is very warm. We had a phenomenal time and the house had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that we weren’t there longer!

The house is clean and fabulous, we felt spoiled and the neighbohour is gorgeous, the lake nearby is beautiful, the bikes, kayaks and all the beach gear were a treat! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation in cape cod! Phenomenal! We had only an issues with the trash because the animals love to open the garbage cans outside and it wasn't clear that we had to put the garbage in front of the streets. Also, we could have more light outside for grilling at night, but other than those small details, it was an incredible experience! Highly recommend! Wow! Wow! Wow!

House was very clean, well furnished and welcoming. We loved the breezeway and outdoor shower. Quaint, quiet neighborhood walking distance to waterfront. Would definitely recommend to others and certainly plan on returning ourselves!

The house was very nice and comfortable. The quick walk to the beach was awesome! Only recommendation would be to update some of the kitchen supplies (I.e new knives, wooden spoons, serving bowls) to make eating in more enjoyable. We would definitely consider renting the property again!

From the minute we stepped in, we felt right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and kid friendly for riding bikes and running. We walked to watch the most beautiful sunsets from the cove. The hammock was an added bonus for relaxation. We spent many mornings and afternoons on the screened in porch. We grilled almost every night and enjoyed the outdoor table. We will definitely be coming back!!

After being quarantined for months, our family needed a change of scenery and some fresh air. This home being located on the lake but nearby to beaches and seafood takeout was the best of both worlds! We enjoyed fishing and many boats they provided. I was thankful that the life jackets were also provided. We spent many nights by the fire out back making smores and enjoying the hot tub. The house was clean and perfect sized for our family of 4 and Grandma who enjoyed the lower suite. The management group was also so organized and quick to respond. Would definitely rent from them again!

Perfect place to relax and unwind. The house had everything you could need and was designed really well. The deck was absolutely everything - it was the gateway to the most amazing views the Cape has to offer. Loved our stay here - couldn’t have been better.

The location of the house is excellent. Close to Main St to walk but far enough away that it was very quiet and peaceful. A short walk through a low tide beach trail leads out to a quiet section of Lighthouse Beach. The kitchen was well equipped for our week long stay. The only draw backs were the size of the downstairs bathroom. No real room to put toiletries. It would benefit to have a few shelves The other big draw back was the downstairs queen size bed. Since it was just my husband and myself we rented linens for that bed. It seems old and very uncomfortable. Plus the bedframe squeaked and moved every time we would move. If we stayed again I would hope the upstairs king mattress would be better.

We enjoyed our stay in North Chatham. The condo was centrally located, yet off the beaten trail. Downtown Chatham was only a few miles away. We were walking distance to Chatham Perks coffee shop. The property itself was well appointed, including a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the outside deck and view. We would rent this property again.

The photos were accurate. The home is just as it looks in the photos. No surprises. It was cozy, homey and immaculately maintained. I don't know what the neighborhood would be like in season, but my stay was quiet and relaxed. It was an easy walk to beautiful Red River Beach. There are many restaurants and shops close by. I hated to leave!

From the initial inquiry to final checkout, this rental property was wonderful! All communication was prompt & courteous. The home itself was just as listed- clean, secure, spacious, with a beautiful, fenced yard in a nice neighborhood. (It is on a busy main street, but set back from the road that it wasn’t noisy at all).
You can travel to any part of the Cape rather easily for day trips, ( you do need a car) or simply grill & relax at home. There are too many restaurants to try, but all the staples are there if you choose to cook.
I highly recommend this rental & hope to return soon myself. Thank you for a wonderful stay for me & my pup- he misses his friend Lucky, who made daily visits 🐰 in the backyard. Can’t wait to go back!

We have been using NEVR in Chatham for 6 years now and every year we are 100% satisfied with their services. They are really easy to reach out to in any situation, and always a pleasure to work with! I can't imagine doing the whole process on my own. It is so easy to go into their website, specify what you are looking for, and multiple properties to choose from pop up. Everyone we communicate with by email or phone always treats us like we are old friends and they are happy to hear from us again. They also go out of their way to help you out if you have a situation that needs to be handled. Thank you NEVR for making every September a wonderful and relaxing time to remember. We usually don't even want to go home at the end of the week.

We had a great time at four shore house. The kids enjoyed a lot the beach, backyard and facilities at the house. This house is great for families that wants enjoy the ape cod area. Strongly recommended.
