House is in a convenient location with a very comfortable layout: 3 nice bedrooms, super functional and nicely stocked kitchen, cozy TV room and great living/dining space plus peaceful deck. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our extended family....comfortable and clean. The kitchen and deck were awesome, and the views were amazing! Very nice neighborhood and great beach. House was well stocked and had every amenity we could need. Will definitely stay here again!

The house is spacious and comfortable. It is the perfect place to relax. The views are amazing from inside and outside and the beach was never crowded during our stay.

This was a special house at the end of the road. Peaceful. Beautiful view! Easy walk to sandy beach (sandy at low tide) that was great for swimming and skim boarding. A must is a tube ride up or down the scorton creek, following the tide. Market, supermarket and great restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here. The location was close to town that we could ride our bicycles. The home was well stocked with many kitchen amenities & a even paper plates & many spices. It was very clean & although on the smaller side, there was plenty of room for the kids to have their own space when they needed. We loved coming home after the beach to the hot tub, which was sparkling clean. The grill was also very nice to have. The only drawbacks were the yard was small (which was ok, bc we did many other things) & the road to the house was a bit tricky to find initially & pretty bumpy. But those were not a big deal at all. It was a great stay & they even let us check out an hr later, which was so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at Poppy’s Place. The house is spacious and perfect for families, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kids loved the large backyard, and the adults appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. The house was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we needed for a fantastic vacation. The location couldn't be better. We were just a short drive from the beach, and the nearby town had wonderful shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, providing a peaceful retreat after our days of exploring. We especially enjoyed the local seafood and scenic walks along the coastline. Our hosts were attentive and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't recommend this house enough for families looking for a perfect Cape Cod getaway. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed the cozy beach house! It was well supplied with board games, coffee, and some snacks. We really appreciated how thoughtful and carefully curated everything was! We also loved how close it was to the beach, and great restaurants.

Well kept house in a quiet neighborhood. An easy bike ride to the beach on fairly quiet/slow roads, and a beautiful back yard complete with fire pit and party lights. Everything is well maintained, all necessities are provided, and the beds are comfortable. Our 6 year old enjoyed the games and beach toys provided. It is small, so there were not many places to tuck away our food and luggage, but overall this was a great find and we enjoyed staying here. It's a great place!

What a special place!! Lots of Cape Cod charm, walk to the beach, outdoor shower and centrally located. Simplicity at its finest! Would definitely return.

We have stayed in Harwichport before and this was a great place to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Comfortably fit us all and AC was nice to have since it was a hot week. Cons would be no towels and you can't bring your dog. Otherwise I would definitely rent again.

The Sand Trap was a great experience. The accommodations were above and beyond. We have been renting at the Cape specifically in the Sandwich area for over thirty-five years and the Sand Trap was the nicest by far. This was the first year with NEVR although we rented many years with the folks at NEVR when they were Beach Realty. Their customer service has not diminished at all over the years, it has only gotten better. I would highly recommend NEVR and the Sand trap. I only wish they had more control of the weather :-)

This was a terrific little house, accommodating our needs very well. The kitchen was a good size and had all the necessary meal prep equipment. Having said that, I was surprised that some basic pantry items were missing - paper towels, foil, cooking oil, to name a few. The bedrooms were spacious, and there was plenty of seating to relax indoors, which we needed because the weather wasn’t great. The two family size table worked really well for us, one for eating and one for playing board games. There’s also easy beach access for those beautiful summer days. We would definitely stay here again. Date of arrival - August 3, 2024

Incomparable location on the beach and just far enough from Sandwich...but not too much! House a bit smaller and lower end than advertised. Compensation came from the 10 yards to walk to get on the beach.

This is a beautiful property and was the perfect size to celebrate my mother in laws 60th birthday! It was spacious, impeccably clean and so nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the open living room & kitchen combo, two showers and the outdoor space. Ideal for 4 couples! It is close to Sandwich center and the beaches and is in a lovely neighborhood. We took morning walks almost every day. It was exactly what we were looking for!

The house was as depicted in the pictures. The rooms were a little smaller but that's usually the case in most ads. Kitchen/Dining Room/Living Room were ample space for 4 adults. Having another couple there would have been tight. The main bathroom was a good size. The Bathroom in the master was super tiny. Tough to maneuver around in but its a vacation house so it was fine. Neighborhood was great! We had a nice walk every day and even walked to the Dunkin Donuts and Stop n Shop. Beaches were nearby which was very nice. Very close to Chatham and a half hours from Dennis (be sure to go to the Tree Top Brewery there). Overall, I would come back to this house for vacation!

This house is a stunning place to stay with impeccably high ceilings in the primary bedroom and expansive views through maximalist windows all around the home.
Location is very private, set a good distance back from the main road. This does make it slightly more challenging to find on arrival but once you figure it out, it’s no trouble at all.
I was a huge fan of the outdoor shower and the house came with a guest pass to a bay-side private beach about 5 minutes up 6A which was an added bonus.
Overall, Sandwich and adjacent towns have plenty of food, coffee, and other activities to fill an entire Cape vacation. But we found ourselves getting in the car and driving further down Route 6 every day for ocean-side beaches and a little more of that outer-Cape feel. That being said, no drive was more than 1 hour (having not ventured beyond Wellfleet) and it was a pleasure to come home to the Hideaway.
No linens struck me as an oddity at first, but we ended up bringing our own, and all was well

This home was perfect for our family, especially for the 3 little grandchildren. It was a quick walk down a sandy path to get to the beach and sandbar, which was located directly in front of the house. The three levels of living are perfect for a big family. Having the kitchen and living room on the top floor is perfect for having a beautiful view throughout the day and during meals. The house had absolutely everything our family needed. Hope to be able to return again next year!

This is our 3rd year at Old Camp and we can't wait to come back! The home and pond are a little slice of heaven. It is truly a special home and location. The water is beautiful and we spend everyday enjoying it. The home is also amazing and beautifully equipped. We have also found the rental agency to extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions or concerns we have had.

This is the first time we have rented through NEVR. The process and communication was excellent. We had major issues with our first rental (which I believe has since been dropped from the listings). The NEVR staff responded to us immediately and helped to relocate us to 14 Hallett. This is the best home that I have ever rented. It was clean and spacious; close to the beach, town, and fish pier; and had pretty much everything that you would need - towels, beach towels, beach chairs, floats for the pool, all kitchen needs! There is so much room yet it felt very cozy. We loved the pool, outdoor shower, and fire pit. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great Chatham rental!!
